Donald Trump's youngest son, Barron Trump, is celebrating another year around the sun - and the once adorable, chubby-cheeked infant is now a strapping young man.
Barron, the only child of President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania Trump, was born on March 20, 2006, and has remained largely out of the spotlight during his childhood.
However, as the New York University (NYU) student has gotten older, he's given more of a glimpse into his private life.
The public got a peek into Barron's relationship with his mother as she made media appearances ahead of the January release of her Amazon documentary, Melania.
She noted how this time in the White House is much different for Barron.
'I'm very proud of him, and he's an incredible young man. He understands now. He's involved. He knows what's going on in the world. He talks with his dad. He talks with me,' she gushed during an in-studio appearance on Fox News Channel's The Five.
Barron remains guarded by his family, never making media appearances, but he attended his first Trump rally in July 2024 and played a role behind the scenes.
'He was very involved in the campaign,' the First Lady noted.

She touted that Barron was very influential to his father.
'He gave him all of the ideas, who he needs to talk to, all of these YouTubers and podcasts. So he was really a smart mind behind it,' she said.
Barron was born and raised in New York City, and attended school there until 2017, when his dad took office for his first term.
At the time, he was the first boy since John F. Kennedy Jr. to live in the White House in over 50 years.
Barron isn't President Trump's only child, with the former reality star sharing sons Don Jr., 47, Eric, 41, and daughter Ivanka, 43, with his late wife, Ivana Trump.
He also shares daughter Tiffany, 31, with ex Marla Maples.
Now, at six-foot-nine, Barron towers over his family and is all grown up; the Daily Mail looks back at his childhood moments.

An infant Barron was bundled up in a white blanket and held by mom Melania as she excitedly greeted her husband.
'Daddy's coming home,' she says, as she walks towards the car with Barron.
'Hi, honey,' Trump says to Melania in the clip, which recirculated online last year, as he gets out of the car and whips off his sunglasses to give her a quick kiss.
He then leans down to give Barron a kiss as well.
Baby Barron made a public appearance at only 10 months old in January 2007 when Trump, who was 60 at the time, made a speech while holding his son at a Los Angeles ceremony.
The future president held Barron in his arms as he was being honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame - before bizarrely praising the 10-month-old as a 'vicious' and 'violent' future businessman.
'See, that's Barron,' Trump told fans watching. 'He's strong, he's smart, he's tough, he's vicious; he's violent - all of the ingredients you need to be an entrepreneur.
'And most importantly, hopefully he's smart because smart is really the ingredient. So Barron, good luck - you have a long way to go.'
Trump then tried to leave the podium but was held up for a second as baby Barron refused to let go of the microphone.
The president-elect joked, 'uh oh, he won't give up the mic,' prompting laughs from the crowd.
As a baby, Barron made several red carpet appearances with his famous parents.
Barron expressed his career ambitions from an early age, announcing at only 18 months that he wanted to work in 'business' when he was older.
In the 2008 clip from The Apprentice, which widely circulated online in 2024, the toddler adorably announced that he wanted to follow in his dad's footsteps and become a powerful real estate mogul like him when he was older.
'To my left is Melania, and this is Barron,' Donald told the contestants while introducing them to his family. 'Barron, say hello to the group.'
The youngster, who was in his mom's arms, excitedly said: 'Hi.'
'Barron will hopefully someday be a great entrepreneur,' Donald continued.
‘Melania, what do you think?’
‘Barron, what do you want to do when you grow up?’ she then asked the toddler, who responded with ‘Business.’
‘A businessman, that’s right, like your daddy,’ Melania said. ‘And what is daddy building?’
‘House,’ little Barron said, as the contestants clapped for him.

In 2024, another video of Barron as a child went viral on X (formerly Twitter) - and social media users were shocked over the fact that he used to have a Slovenian accent.
The clip was filmed for a 2010 special on Larry King Live, and it showed Barron, then four, getting ready to go to school for the first time.
‘I have to go to school now?’ he asked his mother, speaking with a thick Slovenian accent.
Melania then told her son, ‘Yes, first you will have lunch and then you’ll go to school.’
‘You can do reading, writing, and arithmetic,’ Trump chimed in.

Pre-teen Barron shied away from the spotlight
Barron was noticeably absent during much of Donald's campaign trails in 2016 and 2020, but it was said that he started showing some political interest by urging his father to appear on a number of popular podcasts during his most recent campaign.
However, Barron made a few appearances - largely with his mother, who is notoriously very protective of her only child.
At the request of Melania, Barron was forbidden from appearing in social media posts at school, and was the only student to go without a single mention in his high school's yearbook.
In rare snaps seen of the pre-teen during his father's first term, his youngest son seemed to be taller than his mother by 2017 when he was only 11 - even when she was wearing heels.
He had a thriving high school life and attended three different schools
Although he's back in New York City for college, Barron actually attended elementary, middle and high schools in different locations across the country.
The youngest son of Trump started elementary school at Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School on Manhattan's Upper West Side.
However, when Barron was in fifth grade, his dad was elected as president, which meant that he and his mom had to uproot their lives to Washington, D.C.
But since his dad started his term halfway through the school year in January 2017, Barron remained with Melania in New York to finish up his time at Columbia.
