With Christmas just 15 sleeps away, Amazon Australia has announced its delivery cut-off dates to ensure shoppers receive their orders on time.

Prime members doing last-minute gift shopping will be able to order as late as Sunday, December 22, and have their parcels arrive before Christmas Day. Shoppers in Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle, Gosford, Melbourne, Bendigo, Ballarat, Geelong, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra can shop with confidence from a wide range of eligible items with free delivery.

If you're not a Prime member, you'll need to get a little more organised. Orders must be placed by Friday, December 20 to ensure they arrive on time or select a paid delivery option for faster delivery where available. Estimated cut off dates vary depending on the item so customers are urged to triple check the expected delivery date at the checkout before placing their orders.

"The holiday season is as magical as it is hectic, and we want to make it easier for our customers to enjoy the magic without the stress," Country Manager at Amazon Australia Janet Menzies said. "Our late holiday cut-off dates mean that most last-minute shoppers are able to order as late as December 22 from hundreds of thousands of products."
