Laptops are great because they are convenient and packed with computing power so you can take your office with you wherever you go. Unfortunately, one thing laptops aren't blessed with is ports. On some models, you may only have a couple of USB-C ports to expand your system. If you want more connectivity, you'll need a docking station.

Baseus has just announced its new Nomos NU1 Air Spacemate 12-in-1 (MAC) Docking Station. This compact device has a Space Grey finished and comes with a hard wired USB-C cable. It's a visual match for a MacBook and offers a selection of ports and connections as well as charging and power outputs.

According to Baseus, the company's Spacemate series is now the No.1 vertical docking station sold on Amazon since Q2 2025 and has topped the Best Seller rankings in the US, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. Now Baseus has introduced a Mac version with enhanced compatibility across all systems, including macOS, Windows, Linux and Vista.

Thanks to a choice of four display outputs, the docking station can drive two external 60Hz displays when used with a Mac. Many docking stations can't display different content on two screens, but the Nomos Air Spacemate 12-in-1 uses DisplayLink technology to support up to 4K resolution on an external display. It also enables users to view different content across two external 60Hz displays simultaneously. This means users can view high-resolution images, documents and videos on three screens, including the laptop's display.

The new docking station offers high-speed transfers, charging and seamless connectivity across 12 ports, including two HDMI (4K @ 60Hz max) and two DisplayPort outputs (4K @ 60Hz max), two USB-C data ports at 10Gbps, two USB-A data ports at 5Gbps, and two USB-A ports at 480Mbps for legacy devices like mice and keyboards.

For charging duties, the docking station has a 100W USB-C PD port, which is enough to charge and power a MacBook. There is also a 1Gb Ethernet port and the whole station links to the laptop or host device via a single USB-C connection, powering and linking all devices through a single fixed cable.

The Nomos Air Spacemate 12-in-1 (MAC) has an intelligent power management system that automatically detects port usage and allocates power across devices for optimal performance while saving energy and boosting the overall workflow productivity.

For the first time in a vertical docking station, the Spacemate Air series has a single-button solution to protect both power and privacy. A quick press of the illuminated button on the top of the dock will lock the user's screen and safeguard data. A two-second press of the button puts the dock into Energy Saving Mode, disconnecting all ports except the PD charging port. This enables a MacBook to continue charging safely while reducing energy consumption.

The Nomos Air Spacemate 12-in-1 (MAC) provides rapid data transfers with a pair of USB-C 10 Gbps data ports for high-speed data transfers. Users can transfer 20GB files in around 20 seconds, making it suitable for heavy-duty tasks such as video editing or 3D rendering.

The Nomos Air Spacemate 12-in-1 (MAC) is officially launching mid-to-late September 2025 and is priced at $199.99 / €149.99. Users can get the product for $111.99 / €119.99 at launch via Amazon U.S. and will also be available from Amazon EU and AliExpress.
