It's been nearly one year since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, once affectionately nicknamed 'Bennifer,' decided to call it quits for good after just two years of marriage.

The couple - who rekindled their romance in 2021, two decades after calling off their first engagement - officially finalized their divorce in January and have since moved on with their separate lives.

But there's one thing still tying the exes together and that's the mega mansion they purchased in Beverly Hills, which meant to serve as their sprawling love nest.

The opulent property is currently sitting vacant, having been put on the market last July for a whopping $60.8million. That number has since been slashed by a substantial $8 million. But still, no buyer is in sight.

Now, according to an inside source, Affleck, 52, is willing to stomach an even bigger price cut if it means finally being free of the single thing binding him to his short-lived union with Lopez, 55.

'Ben and JLo slashed the price on their Beverly Hills mansion for $8 million less than they paid for it, but this is nothing to Ben,' the insider exclusively told the Daily Mail.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez purchased a sprawling Beverly Hills estate for $60.5 million in May 2023. Nearly one year later after it was listed for $68 million, the vacant property remains unsold.

A source tells the Daily Mail that Ben is willing to take an even bigger price cut if it means being free from the 12 bedroom, 24 bathroom estate.

'He really just wants this to be sold so that he can cut the final cord that keeps him and Jennifer intertwined.'

The couple purchased the three-story, 38,000 square-foot abode in May 2023 for $60.8 million in cash.

Known as Crestview Manor, the lavish estate includes a 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom main house, a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, a two-bedroom guardhouse, a caretaker's house, and a 12-car garage.

The property also boasts a home bar, gym, sports lounge, boxing ring, basketball and pickleball courts, and parking for up to 80 vehicles.

But as their marriage came to an end last year - with Lopez citing their date of separation as April 26, 2024 in divorce documents - the pair attempted to sell the property off-market to an elite buyer for $65 million to no avail.

They were then forced to list the house publicly online - for $68 million in July.

While they initially found luck with a $64 million offer from a New Jersey buyer in September, according to TMZ that deal fell through, landing the mansion back on the market.

Fast forward to now, and the price has been slashed by $8 million, meaning the pair would suffer an $855,000 loss considering various renovations they splashed out on.

The mansion also features a pickleball court and basketball court, along with a home bar, gym, sports lounge, and boxing ring.

The Hustlers actress accidentally showed off the dining room inside the sprawling home, which the former couple are now struggling to sell.

The home had seemed like a fairytale dream for the couple, with an expansive layout ideal for accommodating Ben's children - Violet, 19; Finn, 16; and Samuel, 13 - and Jennifer's 17-year-old twins, Max and Emme.

But the source revealed to the Daily Mail that the abode actually 'caused drama' in their marriage because the Argo director 'never wanted to shell out that much for this home to begin with.'

It was previously reported that the couple weren't fully aligned when they bought the house.

Earlier this year, as the property remained on the market, a source told People that purchasing the home for the jaw-dropping price tag was Ben's idea, while Jennifer reportedly preferred a more romantic, European-inspired aesthetic.

However, once they settled in, Ben wasn't particularly excited about the place either, as the source told People he found it inconvenient and far away from his three children, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

'[Ben] knows [Jennifer] will always have a presence in his life with their kids remaining best friends, but this house is the one last thing that is a symbol of their marriage,' the insider continued to the Daily Mail.

'Ultimately, he just hopes that they find a buyer soon and does not care that he takes a multi-million cut. His marriage and divorce cost him millions and what is another couple million? It is a small price to pay for Ben.'

Both the Gone Girl star and the Hustlers actress have since moved into their own homes after settling their divorce.

The same month their marital home was listed, Ben began renting a bachelor pad in his beloved Brentwood neighborhood, near Garner and his kids, for $100,000 a month.

He later moved out of the rental and purchased a home, also in the Los Angeles suburb, for $20 million.

Meanwhile, Jennifer secured a lavish $21 million estate in the exclusive Los Angeles suburb of Hidden Hills last February.

The sprawling 2.5-acre estate features a 10,046-square-foot main house, along with a barn, stables,a riding arena,a guest house, and a pool.

For added luxury,the home boasts a private theater,a chef's kitchen,and a fully equipped gym.

As their $68 million Beverly Hills home still sits on the market,a second source revealed to the Daily Mail that Ben is ready to 'move on,get the sale over with and worry about things that are important.'

'Ben has to grow and move on. He just wants to live his life that, for the most part, has been very fortunate.Ben has had a lot of wins, and with that comes a few losses,'the source said.

While the insider maintained that Ben 'never wanted to get divorced and have to sell a house,' he would still take the $8 million price cut any day if it means having his family, his career, and his health.

Ben and Jennifer were married in July 2023, nearly two decades after calling off their first engagement. The actress filed for divorce two years later and they settled in January 2025.

A second source told the Daily Mail that Ben is ready to 'worry about things that are important.' The actor shares three kids - Violet, 19; Finn, 16; Samuel, 13 - with Garner.

'He can compartmentalize what is important in life. He's learned over the years what is important,' they added.

In July 2022, Ben and Jennifer exchanged vows at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas and celebrated their marriage in front of friends and family at his sprawling Georgia estate one month later.

After the frequently papped couple went 47 days without being spotted together in early 2024, Jennifer officially divorce in August last year on the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding ceremony.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Ben Affleck for comment.
