A Netflix horror series branded 'one of the best of all time' launched with an incredible 90% Rotten Tomatoes score - as critics share their raving reviews.

The new miniseries was created by Haley Z. Boston, with Stranger Things' bosses the Duffer Brothers serving as executive producers.

Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen launched on March 26, starring Camila Morrone and Adam DiMarco in lead roles.

The pair play engaged couple Rachel and Nicky - who soon face a harrowing obstacle to their upcoming nuptials.

Review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes showed the series had a 90% rating, based on ten reviews from critics.

One penned: 'Honestly, the acting is just on another level, it's so raw and actually makes you feel everything the characters are going through.'

The cast also includes Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Jason Leigh as Victoria, Nicky's mother.

Meanwhile, Silence of the Lambs star Ted Levine - aka Buffalo Bill - portrays Nicky's father, Boris.

Previously, a crime thriller so terrifying it causes 'nightmares' and 'ruins sleep' quickly climbed Netflix charts - and fans raved over the 'tremendous acting' by the show's stars.

Korean drama Queen Mantis follows a policeman on a mission to hunt down a copycat of his notorious serial killer mother.

Ko Hyun-jung stars as the original killer and, with Jang Dong-yoon as her son and the officer tasked with tracking her admirer.

Having taken watchers by storm since its release, the series is in the top ten most watched non-English shows on the platform, and drew in an impressive 1.3 million viewers in its first week.

Although it boasts strong acting, impressive dialogue and a captivating plot, it appears Queen Mantis is not for the faint-hearted.

Fans have branded it 'nightmarish,' and took to social media to swap notes on the first four episodes.

One user wrote online: 'I am so into this show! I have been waiting all week.'
'A part of me is a little frightened of what kind of nightmares this show is going to inspire and ruin my weekend restorative sleep, but eh... what the heck. Sacrifices must be made!'
Another agreed, writing: 'Absolutely, I should not be watching this show (because of night terrors) but I am so hooked. The sacrifices we make...'

Others praised the cast's performance, with one commenting: '10/10 for episode 3. Tremendous acting from both mother and son.'

And a second chimed in: 'I've been loving the first few episodes, and I hope they can keep up the pace of this!'

The synopsis reads: 'To stop a copycat criminal, a cop must work with the serial killer behind the original murders - his mother who he's spent his life trying to forget.'

Elsewhere, a Spanish series, which has launched all six of its terrifying episodes to be binged back to back, is now available on the streaming giant.

Tell Me Your Name, originally called Dime Tu Nombre, tells the story of a group of people living in Fuensanta, a small town in Murcia, Spain.

The story follows an NGO leader named Sonia, and a local priest, Father Angel, as they try to manage growing tensions between communities.

The cultural conflict and supernatural terrors begin when the small strawberry-farming village welcomes in a group of Moroccan seasonal workers.

Set in in 1997, the workers settle into a nearby abandoned village, which uncovers a series of ancient nightmares, linked with a darkness that's spread about town.

The synopsis teases: 'Toledo, Spain, 1997. The residents of Río Blanco have accepted the settlement of Moroccan seasonal workers in Fuensanta.

'Coexistence brings tensions, known by Sonia, an NGO leader; Father Ángel, the local priest; and Safir, the Imam.
'What they don't imagine is that Fuensanta's foundations hide something capable of unleashing their worst nightmares, regardless of their beliefs or prayers.'

The series stars The Goldsmith's Secret actress Michelle Jenner as Sonia, alongside Argentinian star Dario Grandinetti as Father Angel, and Moroccan actor Younes Bouab plays Safir.

And there's an impressive team working behind the scenes of the thriller, with Skybound Entertainment, who are behind The Walking Dead, producing the series.

Tell Me Your Name first launched on the site on Halloween, and its episodes have now all been released, with fans quick to praise the scary series.

Taking to reviews site Rotten Tomatoes, one viewer penned: 'After a long time I've watched a horror show with a good story line, great messaging and creature building.'

Another added: 'Loved each episode.'

While on IMDb another penned: 'Excellent series with great performances from all actors; interesting temporal context in series that reviews different moments in time; religion; terror and entertainment - a pleasant surprise.'
