Drinks on Colin Jost -- and no, we're not talking about Cecily Strong's iconic Jeanine Pirro impersonation that leaves him drenched in wine.
Rather, it's beer that's on the menu, and Jost, 42, is footing the bill. The Saturday Night Live star and Staten Island, N.Y. native is the first-ever celebrity partner of Blue Moon and its family of brands, and to celebrate, he is buying free beers for patrons of some of his favorite bars.
The "Weekend Update" anchor and Blue Moon are buying free beer for customers at some of Jost's favorite Staten Island bars on the evening of Tuesday, June 24, "because," the brand said in a press release, "no beer outshines a Blue Moon, especially on Colin's home turf."
The deal includes one free Blue Moon beer per person (of legal drinking age), and is a limited-time offer while supplies last, according to the company.
There are three bars included in the deal: Jody's Club Forest, Kettle Black and O'Neill's Restaurant & Bar, all located on Forest Avenue.
Customers can nab a free Blue Moon beer at Jody's and O'Neill's starting at 6 p.m. ET, while Kettle Black will begin serving up the complimentary suds at 7 p.m. ET, according to Blue Moon.
Plus, the brand teases, Jost may make an in-person appearance at one of the Staten Island spots.
Jost will be "popping into one of his favorite local spots to enjoy some brews," a press release states, "and maybe even add a little garnish of his own signature humor."
As part of the newly announced partnership, the Pop Culture Jeopardy! host is also starring in the brand's new "Nothing Outshines a Blue Moon" commercials -- which he helped to create, along with his production company No Notes.
In one of the spots, "Orange & Son," the comedian is ordering at a bar when he meets a father-son orange duo -- yes, a literal pair of talking fruits -- who reveal that his pint of Blue Moon has been garnished with a slice of one of them.
After a short exchange with the pair, the bartender walks over to find Jost chatting with the oranges, who (surprise!) are actually completely inanimate.
"They started talking to me," Jost says, an explanation met with a blank stare. Doubling-down, he meekly adds: "The larger one is the dad."
Jost's second Blue Moon spot, "Zoom In," breaks the fourth wall as a crew films a commercial, hilariously cropping him out in favor of a glass of beer.
"Am I out of frame?" the SNL star inquires, a book mic in his face, as a crew member assures him, "That's perfect, what you're doing right there. ...it's looking amazing."
