Unhappy Australian music fans have slammed Mariah Carey's performance at the Fridayz Live RnB festival in Sydney on Saturday night.
The 56-year-old US pop star was the headlining act at the annual music concert and performed her best-known hits to a crowd of thousands at ENGIE Stadium.
However, upset music lovers have slammed the Fantasy hitmaker's performance as somewhat lifeless and uninspired, while questioning why Mariah appeared not to be giving her all on the night.
'It was terrible! I felt really sorry for her. She looked really sad and unwell,' one concertgoer exclusively told Daily Mail.
'I couldn't even buy her T-shirt because I felt sad, I bought a Fridayz T instead. I'm sure she was lip-syncing and she kept going off stage in between songs.'
They then questioned whether the six-time Grammy Award winner was in the best shape to be performing on the night.
'When she talked, I personally couldn't understand her. If she had her own concert, I wouldn't pay to see her. I'm not being mean, I honestly am worried she's unwell. She needs to look after herself,' they said.
'She didn't look comfortable. I've since seen she has arthritis and that makes sense.'
'Poor thing! She was as stiff as a board. Hardly smiled. And it’s like she couldn’t open up her eyes to look at the crowd. She kept her eyes down/closed. Looked like she was reading lyrics,' a second person said.
'This was a tough act to watch, I left halfway through her set,' another person sniped on social media.
'Why is she walking in slow motion?' one fan asked.
Another suggested there may be a reason behind Mariah's reserved performance: 'It's like she couldn't move or open her eye fully. And she was always checking or reading or holding her earpiece.'
At 56, Mariah no longer performs the spectacular acrobatics and slick dance routines that once defined her shows, instead preferring to stay standing at the front of the stage.
While supported by a team of backup dancers, Mariah’s presence is noticeably more stationary than in her heyday.

Daily Mail has contacted event host Fridayz Live for comment.
Tickets to a Fridayz Live show cost between $200 - $500, and other artists performing include Pitbull and Jordin Sparks.
There were also reports that some concertgoers 'bailed' during Mariah's Brisbane show on Friday night, though this has not been confirmed and may simply have been people leaving briefly for the bathroom.
However, there was one moment during her performance where Mariah had the Aussie crowd in stitches.
During a break in the set, Mariah sat on a stool and produced a jar of the ubiquitous Australian spread, Vegemite, with some fans recognising the stunt she was about to pull.
The singer proceeded to dip a teaspoon into the jet-black concoction, coming up with a scoop that would make even the most seasoned Vegemite connoisseur wince.
It was a fact not lost on the audience, as fans could be heard shouting, 'That's too much,' as the Grammy winner prepared to bite down.
She didn't heed the warnings, however, and slipped a sizeable portion gingerly into her mouth.
It was a decision she soon regretted, as Mariah stared back at the crowd, slightly shaking her head before offering an unimpressed: 'No.'
She then proceeded to walk to the back of the stage to discard the offending item.
