The favourite to win the upcoming series of Celebrity Traitors has been revealed as bookies pick their frontrunner ahead of Wednesday's premiere.

Fans of the BBC show, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, have been desperate for the celebrity version of the programme to hit our screens since it was revealed in August last year.

Viewers don't have long to wait because the popular programme hits BBC One at 9pm this evening (8th October 2025).

There is a pretty impressive star-studded cast including the likes of Alan Carr, 49, Charlotte Church, 39, Tom Daley, 31, and Paloma Faith, 44.

Already there has been plenty of talk about who is going to thrive as they take on the role of either a Traitor or Faithful.

Celebrity odds expert Dave James from What Are The Odds believes that funnyman Alan is the favourite to get his hands on the £100,000 charity prize.

Some bookies have named Alan Carr (pictured) as the celebrity to win the upcoming BBC series.

The comedian has odds of 7/2 and a probability of 22.2%.

This Morning host Kate Garraway, 58, is second in line for the win with 4/1 and a probability of 20.0%.

Broadcaster Stephen Fry, 68, is in the top three with 9/2 and a probability of 18.2%.

Meanwhile EastEnders star Tameka Empson, 48; David Olusoga, 55; and Jonathan Ross, 64; are in the bottom three with 20/1 and a probability of 4.8%.

Celebrity odds expert David James said: 'The Traitors is back on our screens tonight and with the Celebrity twist this is certain to be a much needed viewing figure jackpot for the BBC.
'Odds released from the bookmakers show Alan Carr leading the market at 7/2 (22.2% chance of winning).
'The Chatty Man certainly has quick wit and sharp social instincts to do well in the castle.
'I have a feeling that he's the kind of player who'll have everyone laughing while secretly plotting their downfall!
'He's charming, sharp, and just sneaky enough to be dangerous.
'I think the end result will partly depend on how Alan copes with being either a Faithful or a Traitor.
'If anyone can pull off betrayal with a smile, it's Alan and I think he's probably the stand out contestant.'

There are other bookies who have named the nicest man on telly on top, including OLBG (2/1 and 33.3%).

Celebrity Traitors begins on Wednesday night and fans are gearing up for the new series which is the first to star famous faces.

An exciting first look was revealed on Tuesday which showed how dramatic things might be.

The series will star the likes of Alan Carr, Paloma Faith and Stephen Fry taking part in a bid to win up to £100,000 for their chosen charity.

It remains to be seen who will be Faithful and who will be a dreaded Traitor this time around, but given the personalities involved, we're expecting fireworks.

The first look showed all the stars at their first, iconic roundtable as they are blindfolded for the first major moment.

It sees host Claudia Winkleman go around the table and silently select the first Traitors by tapping them on their shoulder.

The Traitors first hit our screens in 2022 and proved to be an instant hit.

'With all of the contestants arriving at the castle as Faithfuls, they will soon find out their fate in the game - whether they are playing as a Faithful or as a Traitor.
'The role of the Faithfuls is to find the Traitors amongst the group, and banish them all before the end of the game.
'The aim of the Traitors is to stay undetected and escape banishment,' the BBC synopsis reads.
