Dolph Lundgren was spotted for the first time with his wife, Emma Krokdal, in Beverly Hills on Friday since revealing he is now cancer-free following a lengthy, nine-year battle.

The Rocky IV actor, 67, shared a video on Instagram before undergoing a minimally invasive procedure to give the positive update to his fans. The Swedish-born star was first diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and when the cancer returned in 2020, he was told at that time that he had only 2 to 3 years left to live.

"Here I am at UCLA, I'm about to go in and get rid of that last tumor," he said. "Since there are no cancer cells in my body anymore, I guess I'll be cancer-free, so I'm looking forward to this procedure."

Following the Thanksgiving holiday, Lundgren was seen enjoying a low-key outing with Krokdal - whom he tied the knot with in July 2023. Dolph kept it casual wearing a black hooded sweatshirt partially zipped up at the front over a printed shirt. He completed his outfit with black shorts, white leggings, and black sneakers.

Krokdal also dressed down for their daytime excursion in a vibrant red sweatshirt paired with fitted black leggings. She wore comfy black ankle boots and carried a burgundy purse.

"It's been a rough ride and really taught me how to live in the moment and enjoy every moment of life," he continued. "I mean, it's the only way to go."

Lundgren expressed gratitude by stating in his post's caption: "Finally cancer-free with gratefulness and excitement for a bright future. Thanks for all your support always."

In May 2023, Dolph revealed during an interview on In Depth with Graham Bensinger that he had been battling cancer for eight years and speculated whether his past use of steroids might be related.

"In 2020, I was back in Sweden and I had some kind of acid reflux... They found one more tumor in the liver," Lundgren explained about discovering his condition again after remission.
"At that point it started to hit me that this was something serious... It had grown too big; it had grown to the size of a small lemon."
Lundgren said regarding steroid usage: "I tried steroids back in the '80s,'90s... you always think you've made a mistake." He pondered if there might be some connection between testosterone therapy and cancer.

The Expendables actor added insights into his treatment journey alongside personal reflections shared by family members like daughter Ida Lundgren who recounted tough conversations during her father's health struggles.
