A girls' day out for Married At First Sight cast members almost ended in disaster for Mel Akbayir and Rebecca Zukowski.
The pair were recently spotted enjoying drama-free downtime with fellow MAFS brides Gia Fleur and Juliette Chae in Sydney's Barangaroo.
But after enjoying hospitality in the busy entertainment district, Bec and Mel decided to hire an e-bike with embarrassing results.
Pictures have emerged of Bec struggling to climb into the saddle of the Lime Bike - a short-term rental popular with tourists - with Mel as passenger.
As Bec quickly lost her balance, Mel just managed to escape a spill, leaping off the bike as her fellow bride tumbled to the ground.
Fortunately, Bec was unhurt and laughed off the aborted bike adventure.
Earlier, the pair were seen seated at a table alongside Gia and the MAFS intruder bride, Juliette.
The quartet of brides were seen hugging each other and posing for selfies while enjoying a meal.
The get-together defied the urgings of producers who have told cast members to avoid being seen in group outings.
It comes after Mel recently broke her silence following one of the most awkward weddings in the show's history.
Viewers watched in disbelief as the sweet bride walked down the aisle to discover her groom Luke Fourniotis was nowhere to be seen - a first for the franchise.
Speaking to Daily Mail, Mel revealed the full emotional toll of the disastrous ceremony.
'It was really nerve-wracking watching it back,' Melissa said.
'I didn't really know what to expect. But watching it again just made me feel all of those emotions all over again. I felt nervous and anxious.'
Fortunately, Bec was unhurt and laughed off the aborted bike adventure.

Melissa arrived at the ceremony blissfully unaware that Luke's wedding day had already unravelled behind the scenes.
Halfway to the venue, Luke realised he had forgotten the rings, forcing his limo to turn back in a frantic race against the clock.
By the time Melissa stepped out of her car, it was too late.
'I was so excited. In my mind, I was thinking my mum’s probably met him, my sister’s probably met him. I was imagining it a thousand times,' she said.
'But as I walked down the aisle, no one was turning around. My friends weren’t smiling. Then I realised there was nobody there waiting for me.'
Married At First Sight continues Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine.
