Delta Goodrem has unveiled the first breathtaking glimpse of her hotly anticipated Eurovision 2026 staging.
The Aussie singer, 41, will represent the nation in Vienna this week with her anthem Eclipse, and the first official rehearsal footage released overnight has already sent fans into meltdown.
In the dazzling 30-second clip, Delta commands the stage in an ethereal couture masterpiece dripping in gold and Swarovski crystals.
Insiders are already calling Australia one of the most visually ambitious Eurovision performances to date.
Set against dramatic beams of light, cascading shadows and swirling smoke, Delta's staging transforms Vienna's Wiener Stadthalle into a shimmering cosmic spectacle inspired by the shifting brilliance of a solar eclipse.
The performance begins in moody darkness before exploding into radiant gold, with the stage morphing from a moonlit dreamscape into a blazing sunscape as the song crescendos.
At the centre of the visual feast is Delta herself, draped in a custom-designed gown created by Australian fashion houses Velani by Nicky and House of Emmanuele.
The couture ensemble reportedly took more than 500 hours to complete and features more than 7,000 hand-embellished Swarovski crystals, while an intricate crystal eclipse piece radiates from her chest as both armour and ornament.
Styled by Tori Knowles, the look has been described as a living performance artefact blending fragility, feminine strength and mythology.
'Performing on the Eurovision stage is something I feel so deeply in my heart, carrying Australia with me in every note and every moment,' Delta said in a statement.
'I wanted the staging to move like the Universe itself, embracing light and shade, softness, and strength.
'It was also incredibly important to me to wear the vision of Australian designers, while weaving in the beauty and elegance of our host city, Vienna.'
Eurovision fans have already rallied behind the singer, with her rehearsal clip among the most-liked entries released so far.
Of the ten preview videos unveiled overnight, Delta's has surged past 40,000 likes - placing her among frontrunners France and Italy, while many competing nations remain closer to the 10,000 mark.
Her official Eurovision music video for Eclipse has also surpassed 500,000 views on YouTube in just one week, with an additional 200,000 views on her personal channel.
Combined with strong Spotify streaming numbers and ARIA chart traction, momentum appears to be building rapidly behind Australia's entry.
The staging itself was crafted by acclaimed creative directors Dan Shipton and Ross Nicholson of Black Skull Creative, who have leaned heavily into themes of celestial transformation, emotional rebirth and theatrical grandeur.
Adding a poignant full-circle moment, Vienna was also the city that hosted Australia's Eurovision debut in 2015, making Delta's performance a symbolic nod to the nation's evolving Eurovision journey.
Delta will also incorporate harp and piano into the live performance, further elevating the spectacle.
Australia will compete in Semi-Final 2 on May 15 at 5:00am, with local audiences also able to tune in to SBS's prime-time Access All Areas coverage the following evening.
After Go-Jo's shock semi-final exit in 2025, hopes are high that Delta's star power, polished staging and devoted fan support could propel Australia back into the singing competition's upper ranks.
