Nobody elected "first partner" Jennifer Siebel Newsom -- and she's not winning her husband any votes.

Not with potshots at President Donald Trump for supposedly discriminating against women by firing Kristi Noem at Homeland Security and Pam Bondi at the Justice Department.

"There's no secure place inside this handpicked patriarchal body that systemically disrespects, devalues and discriminates against women and girls," Siebel Newsom claimed.

Perhaps she forgot the fact that Trump named Susie Wiles as the first female White House chief of staff -- and that he is standing by her throughout her treatment for breast cancer.

Or the fact that Trump has hired a team of hyper-competent, super-smart press secretaries, almost all of them female.

Of course he fired the hapless Anthony Scaramucci in record time, not to prove the point that he can fire men, too, but simply for poor performance.

He also fired Rex Tillerson as secretary of state in his first term. Tillerson came with a proud CEO's pedigree -- and left with his tail between his legs.

Democrats demanded that Noem and Bondi be fired -- and now complain that they were.

Here's the truth most Americans have learned about Trump -- except, perhaps, in Sacramento: Trump can be brash, and even insulting, but he's an equal-opportunity offender.

More important: Trump doesn't care what color you are, what your sex is, or who you sleep with, as long as you get the job done.

In contrast, look at how Gov. Gavin Newsom runs California.

Identity is more important than everything else, especially performance.

And has Newsom done anything in particular for women?

He had to be called out by Halle Berry last year before he was shamed into signing legislation to approve menopause-related health care treatments.

The only women's cause Newsom seems to care about is abortion -- and, of course, not all women agree, especially when girl babies are often the primary victims.

The old "war on women" tactic may have worked for Democrats over a decade ago. It just doesn't work anymore.

Not only because Republicans have changed -- thanks to Trump -- but also because the left's policies have been exposed as being dangerous for women.

What did Siebel Newsom have to say about Kembery Chirinos-Flores, the mother allegedly murdered by two illegal aliens who were able to stay in the US because Santa Clara County ignored ICE detainer requests?

Until Siebel Newsom speaks up for all women, maybe leave the old, tired accusations behind.
