Georgia Kousoulou revealed she rushed her newborn daughter Gigi to A&E on Monday night following a terrifying health scare.

The former TOWIE star, 33, welcomed her second child with husband Tommy Mallet, 31, last month.

Georgia, who also shares son Brody, two, with Tommy, hurried Gigi to hospital after noticing she came down with bronchitis.

Bronchitis is inflammation of the airways in the lungs that is usually caused by an infection. It often gets better without treatment in around 3 weeks.

She wrote: 'Baby girl not well [crying emoji].. trip to a&e & she has Bronchitis.. worst thing when they are this small!'

And on Tuesday, Georgia shared a positive health update, admitting: 'Guys thank you so much more messaging me about Gigi. She is doing well but bronchitis not a joke, it is awful. It is so scary, as you can see I'm still in my pyjamas.'

'My mum's here and Tom's dad is downstairs. I've had Tom's mum here, Brody's off school for Christmas and now I don't want him to get it. When you’ve got a newborn and a toddler because it is so hard.

'I have been up all night just watching her breathe, if your child has had bronchitis you will know what I’m talking about because they just gasp for breath. It is not nice, it’s really not nice.'

She added: 'I’m feeding little and often and checking her temperature all the time and just watching her breathing all the time. Her chest was going in a little bit when she was breathing but mildly. I’m keeping her up right, that is all you can do.'

Georgia shared the adorable moment her son Brody met his newborn baby sister for the first time.

And now after growing her family, Georgia took to Instagram on Monday to show her fans her adorable children, with Brody looking simply delighted by his new sibling.

The youngster beamed at Gigi and gave a thumbs up as he carefully cradled her, while Gigi wrapped up warmly in a pale pink blanket.

Little Gigi sported a pink bow on her head and was clearly camera ready as she stuck her tongue out for the photo.

Captioning the touching moment, Georgia penned: 'This feeling is like no other. Thank you for all the love.'

The former TOWIE star, 33, welcomed her second child with husband Tommy Mallet, 31, last week, with the couple announcing the news with a sweet picture of the trio at the hospital.

Sharing her happy baby news on Instagram on Sunday, Georgia penned: 'Introducing you .. GIGI Fordham. Born on 22.11 weighing 8 pound 12. Our darling girl, We are so in love, our hearts could burst. Thank you god for answering our prayers.'

The birth comes after a stressful time for Georgia, after she was rushed to hospital last month due to feeling 'reduced movement' from her unborn baby girl.

The reality star, who underwent IVF, explained in an update to her Instagram Story that luckily 'everything was good' and she made sure to get checked over quickly.

Georgia shared photos of herself undergoing a series of tests as she lay in a hospital bed with wires and straps across her tummy.

She wrote: 'Baby girl wanted attention. Rushed out the house as felt movement was reduced so made sure I got checked and everything is good, thank you God.'

The update came after Georgia shared a heart-warming clip of her son, Brody, helping her get an ultrasound scan after revealing she is expecting a baby girl.

She emotionally admitted to feeling 'so blessed' as Brody stood by her side during the ultrasound scan.

In the sweet video, he was seen holding the sonographer while helped by the nurse, who showed him the newborn on the screen.
