Hollyoaks star Jessica Fox was rushed to hospital after a wine bottle injury left her in agony.
The actress, 42, who plays Nancy Hayton in the Channel 4 soap, addressed her absence from TikTok in a video shared to the social media platform on Tuesday (April 7) and confessed that 'it all went to s*'.
The soap star also opened up about her and three-year-old son River's chest infection battles, her sinus infection, and also got candid about being a 'solo parent' due her husband, musician Nicholas Willes, being away for long periods.
It was all topped off with the wine bottle accident which occurred when she returned to the Hollyoaks set following her sinus infection.
Jessica recalled: 'During a scene, I tripped holding a wine bottle, and I smashed it on my hand.'
The wounds on her left pinky and ring fingers have been bandaged up, and she added: 'This is a week later, and it was one of those things.'
'You know when it's like the straw that broke the camel's back? I was like, 'Now what?'
'I had to go to A&E - well, walk-in centre, and then they sent me to A&E - and the service, I have to say, was absolutely phenomenal, but it did mean I needed to have some stitches in this hand.'
She later admitted that she is 'starting to feel better', but she branded solo parenting one handed as a "f farce".
She added: 'I'm very nervous about when I have to take these off in a couple of days because it still stings quite a lot.
'And then I literally squeezed it for some unknown reason, and it was like a white hot pain went through my entire body.'
After sharing her disastrous start to the week with her 44.5k followers on the social media app, many rushed to reply and share their support.

Jessica welcomed her son River into the world in March 2023.
She shares her child with husband Nicholas.
The pair tied the knot in 2020 after getting engaged in 2019, but the pair originally met in 2016.
Jessica is best known for playing Nancy in Hollyoaks.
She took on the role of the fan favourite in 2005 and has been on our screens ever since.
Jessica previously starred in Powers, Crossroads, The Bill, and Weirdsister College.
