I'm A Celebrity star Jack Osbourne's wife Aree Gearhart made a major slip-up by exposing his biggest jungle secret.

Throughout his time on the ITV show, Jack, 40, has been intentionally keeping his phobias close to the chest - revealing in a pre-show clip he was reluctant to reveal what they were.

But during Monday's episode of ITV2 spin-off Unpacked, Aree called in to speak with hosts Joel Dommett and Kemi Rodgers, and she unintentionally spilled the beans.

Aree discussed her husband's performance in Drown The Hatch - where he won 12 stars and came face-to-face with a snake seemingly without fear.

'I knew he was going to do really well.
'He's very handy, outdoorsy. I was shocked by the Drown The Hatch.

Jack Osbourne has been a major presence on this year's I'm A Celebrity but has deliberately been keeping certain information close to his chest

During Wednesday's episode of Unpacked, Jack's wife Aree called into the show and spilled the beans about what he's scared of

Jack and Aree tied the knot back in 2023 after having gotten engaged two years earlier in December 2021

'The snakes, I know, are a big fear of his.'

Surprised, Kemi responded: 'Oh, that's interesting because he seems really calm.

'He was like, "Oh, it was close to me" but we didn't see him panic that much, did we? Does he have any other fears?'

In response, Aree continued: 'Yeah, he can get into this really stoic place which I think we saw in [Drown The Hatch].

'He's absolutely terrified of spiders.'

This prompted Joel to joke: 'The producers are noting that down.'

Earlier in the week, Jack himself appeared on Unpacked - where he answered viewers' questions from the Bush Telegraph.

One asked if there was anything he was scared of, to which Jack replied: 'Oh, there's plenty that I'm scared of.

Jack proved that he is just as metal as his late father Ozzy in Drown The Hatch

The star has taken part in a number of the ITV show's trials

'But coming in here, I refused to tell the show what I'm actually scared of. I've been lying to them the whole time, what I've been scared of.'

Joel praised the idea, calling it 'clever', as Jack added: 'I came in being like, "I hate green ants".

'I do hate green ants because they destroyed my arm, but every challenge I've had, they've been like "green ants, green ants".'

Meanwhile, in I'm A Celebrity's line-up reveal video, he previously admitted: 'I am scared of the bushtucker trials.

'The advice my mum gave me was "don't tell them what you're really afraid of".

'There is a chance you'll hear me say I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.'

Elsewhere, Aree also revealed that Jack's time on I'm A Celebrity has helped him to 'navigate' his grief following the death of his father Ozzy.

Viewers have seen Jack talk about coming to terms with his father's passing, breaking down in tears as he told his campmates that his death 'still feels fresh' after it came as 'a shock' to the family.

Aree said she thinks being around his 'funny' campmates is helping to life Jack's spirits.

She said: 'It's kind of a funny time to be doing something like this, but it's helpful...
'I think he's going to want to come out of it with the connections and the fact that he did it - he's very competitive, and he loves the outdoors, and I think he just wants to see this through.'

I'm A Celebrity continues on ITV1 and ITVX.
