First up on my list is something that I cannot go to the parks without: a handheld fan.

It's perfect because it's small enough to fit in a fanny pack but pretty strong - and it really does keep me cool even in the blazing Florida sun.

Another item that's always in my Disney bag is the O2COOL Mist 'N Sip water bottle.
Bringing your own water bottle to the theme park can save you tons of money long-term, and what makes this one special is that not only can you use it to drink water and stay hydrated, but it also acts as a spray bottle.
Being able to mist yourself really helps cool you off - between the spray bottle and the handheld fan, the humidity will have nothing on you.

The waterproof bag, which costs $25.99 on Amazon, ensures they don't get dirty or bent in your suitcase and it adorably has the word 'ears' sewn onto the front.
Another Disney must-have is some ear holders from the brand EQVYG, which are designed to safely secure your ears onto your bag when you decide to take them off during the day.
You often have to remove your ears for rides and before discovering this product I accidentally left them behind on numerous occasions, but now it’s a relief knowing that they’re always attached to my backpack. For only $9.99, you can get a pack of three on Amazon.
Some other things I always bring to the theme park include a poncho, electrolyte packets, Band-Aids, sunscreen, Advil and Body Glide's anti-chafe balm.
The latter is $11 for a 1.5oz stick which can be applied to your arms, chest and thighs to help prevent that dreaded rash that often pops up when you do a lot of walking in the heat.
