Social media star Abby Baffoe has hit back after critics claimed her Masters outfit strayed out of bounds.

Baffoe, who has amassed 513,000 Instagram and 1.4 million TikTok followers with her 'Get Ready With Me' videos, attended the Masters at Augusta National last week.

However, the 30-year-old came under fire for her choice of attire for the iconic, prestigious golf club, with many deeming it inappropriate.

Baffoe sported a vintage Chanel minidress to attend the major championship, adding a pair of white denim shorts underneath because the dress was 'extra, extra mini.'

She complemented the look with a cream sweater draped around her shoulders, a white Ralph Lauren Polo cap and Adidas sneakers. She finished off the outfit with a pair of sunglasses and a black Chanel handbag.

Despite adding the teeny pair of shorts for modesty, many traditional golf fans took issue with the ensemble and its lack of 'country club attire.'

But the social media influencer brushed off the criticism, taking to TikTok on Monday to fire back at her critics.

She shared a video of herself walking through the streets of New York and flashing a peace sign to the camera while Miranda Lambert's 'Only Prettier' played.

'When you wake up getting canceled for your Masters outfit,' she wrote.

One social media user who had criticized the outfit had written: 'Tell me it's your first time at the Masters without telling me it's your first time at THE MASTERS...' In reply, Baffoe confirmed simply, 'It's my first time at the Masters.'

Another commenter wrote, 'Please research the appropriate attire for this event.'

'Class is knowing how to dress for the moment, not dressing to be seen,' a third posted, while another added: 'I think you mixed up your Masters and Coachella outfits.'

'Social media has ruined the Masters,' claimed one furious user.

Augusta National does not actually have a dress code for the Masters but encourages patrons to dress appropriately and wear light, comfortable clothing and footwear

Despite user's ire, Baffoe did not break any official Augusta National rules. The club, known for its enforcement of notoriously strict rules, does not actually have a dress code for the Masters.

'The most important tip for Masters patron attire is to dress appropriately for the weather and consider wearing light layers, as temperatures in April range from highs of 80°F to lows of 50°F,' is all the Masters' official website notes.
'Plan to wear comfortable, water-resistant shoes without spikes or pointed heels. Golf shoes with metal spikes are not permitted.'

The Masters website does offer a Pinterest board offering outfit inspiration. The board shows women dressed in elegant, lightweight sundresses, straw hats and comfortable footwear, while men are seen in casual golf attire including polo shirts and shorts.
