Jack also explained that his unborn child has become a beacon of light as he mourns his father, who died in July at 76.
'I think it's been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing -- probably in that kind of 'full cycle' category, in a weird way,' he reflected.
He added, 'It's very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked in a bit more hopefulness.'
Jack said how Ozzy would have been 'very supportive about my journey in the jungle' and that his entire family is proud of his achievement.
In the Jungle, Jack opened up to his campmates about his father's death, telling them: 'It was definitely a shock. We knew he was sick for a while but we didn't know it would be that quick.'
He became tearful when speaking to his close friend and campmate, comedian Eddie Kadi, as he admitted he missed Ozzy: 'Just his energy. He had this force so hard to describe like he swallowed the galaxy and didn't know what to do with it.'
He added: 'He'd be so supportive of this.' Then he added: 'I'm still navigating it all...it's been three nearly four months so it's still pretty fresh.'
