Jennifer Lopez is ready to 'start the new year fresh' following her 'rough' split from ex-husband Ben Affleck. The On The Floor songstress, 55, notably filed for divorce from the Oscar winner, 52, back in August on their second wedding anniversary.

A source told People that the actress is aiming to put the end of her marriage behind her and move forward in 2025. The insider explained that Lopez is 'focused on her own life' and added, 'She has had a rough year but is doing well. She's ready for Christmas and to start the new year fresh.'

Jennifer - who is mother to twins Max and Emme, 16 - has been 'house-hunting for her and the kids' and 'would like to find another home for them.' Her $68 million Beverly Hills mansion that she had bought with Affleck is currently still on the market after initially being listed in July.

"She has had a rough year but is doing well. She's ready for Christmas and to start the new year fresh,"

Back in September, a couple from New Jersey had put in an offer on the abode for $64 million but pulled out following a death in the family. Earlier this week, Lopez was seen taking a look at properties in both Beverly Hills and Brentwood - an L.A. neighborhood Ben currently resides in.

The singer appeared tense as she toured three spacious mansions while on the hunt for a new place for her family.

"Ben wants Unstoppable to be a major hit, and for JLo to receive as many accolades as she deserves for it," one insider stated.

During an award ceremony, Lopez was recognized with the Maverick Award for her performance in Unstoppable. The Amazon Prime movie will have a limited theatrical release beginning December 6 before being available on streaming January 16 next year.

"When I first learned about the true story behind Unstoppable, I was moved beyond words. It's a testament to resilience, grit, and the human spirit,"

The premise of Unstoppable centers around wrestler Anthony Robles's life story: born with one leg yet winning a national championship at Arizona State University in 2011. Alongside Jennifer are stars such as Jharrel Jerome and Don Cheadle.

"It says a lot about character when people are good and loving...what they can accomplish."

A source recently explained that Lopez wants time before entering another relationship: "Jen would love love again but focuses now on herself." She isn't actively seeking relationships post-Affleck but rather concentrating more intently upon personal growth through work pursuits during upcoming years ahead—especially into what could become transformative moments throughout all aspects involved therein (i.e., career & self-discovery).
