Jessie J showed off her strong physique as she posed for a bold Women's Health cover shoot as she reflected on her breast cancer journey.

The singer, 37, had surgery to remove a lump in her right breast in June after being diagnosed with early breast cancer and admitted earlier this month there is a chance her cancer could return.

The Bang Bang hitmaker looked stronger than ever as she posed in a sports bra and leggings flashing her toned arms and midriff.

Jessie put on a leggy display in coordinated high waisted underwear which she teamed with sheer black tights and a fur coat.

The singer draped the fur coat off her shoulders before lying on the floor and kicking her leg into the air.

Elsewhere Jessie slipped into a burgundy bodysuit for the Jan/Feb issue before also donning a gold velvet Adidas tracksuit.

During the interview, Jessie admitted she annoyed a lot of family and friends when she postponed her surgery to perform at Capital's Summertime Ball in June but she felt 'guilty' and didn't want to sit around crying that she has cancer.

She told Women's Health: 'I p* off a lot of people by postponing my surgery to do that show. But I knew doing the show was going to impact me personally, as Jessica.
'I feel guilty that not everyone who has to have cancer surgery gets that moment. There were 80,000 people cheering, not because I could sing well or wore an outfit they liked. It was: we love you, we're behind you and we hope this goes well.
'We're not handcuffed to having to sit down and be quiet and cry because we've got cancer. I'm going to sing Bang Bang as loud as I can.'

Jessie is hoping to 'change the narrative' around people being diagnosed with cancer as she doesn't want to have to deal with it privately and come back and pretend everything is great.

Despite the challenges, the Price Tag singer said 'nothing has broken me' and she believes she has 'gone through all the things I have to help people'.

Jessie also revealed that she reached out to presenter Davina McCall after she revealed she had breast cancer earlier this year.

The songstress explained how she told the TV star to 'create the bubble that you need to survive' as this is your thing your going through.

Jessie has returned to the spotlight in recent weeks after having to delay her tour.

Discussing her cancer battle last week, the singer told ABC News: 'I've been really lucky, super lucky, to find it so early.'

'It wasn't invasive, thank god. I know there's a chance it could come back but until then we're living life.'

Back in October, Jessie spoke of 'frustrated' she was after doctors postponed her second cancer surgery, after she had cancelled her tour to have it.

The singer said: 'Some of you may know, some of you may not know, I was supposed to have a second breast surgery two weeks ago,' she told fans.

'So a week before my surgery I went to my surgeon and we discussed my surgery and it felt a little more complex than he was anticipating and referred me to a different surgeon who I then saw, had a meeting with who said: "I think this can wait a little while".

'Obviously I'd already cancelled my tour so I was obviously frustrated but again it's out of my control and two different surgeons had two different opinions.'

Jessie said that following the news immediately went into 'mum mode' and got to organising and revealed there would be new dates for her US tour.

In September, Jessie returned to the stage for her first live performance following her cancer battle.

She opened her set at BBC Radio 2 In The Park in Chelmsford, Essex to a loud applause from fans.

Appearing emotional on stage, she told the packed crowd: 'Some of you may know, some of you may not know, but I had breast cancer surgery 11 weeks ago today.'

'And the last show I did, I had no idea what was gonna happen, and I’m still very much in the recovery process, but I’m definitely not ready for Babins.'

'I mean, I am, but my doctors are like "calm down, girl". Do you know what I mean, you can take the girl out of Essex, put her back in to Essex.'

'But I’m just so grateful to be here, you have no idea how grateful I am to see so many of you singing along after all these years.'

'It truly feels like I’m a little kid. Still doing what I love.'

Jessie J's full interview is available in the new issue of Women's Health UK, out 23 December.
