The high road: Apologize directly to Charlie Kirk's family, possibly saving his career on late-night TV.

The low road: Stick to his radical left principles, hoping this will all blow over.

Unfortunately for him, the decision lies with Disney, and the power of the purse always finishes first.

Sorry, Jimmy, it looks as if you will have to do as they say, not as you want.

Perhaps you and Adam Corolla can get back together and figure out a new show.

What late-night hosts have forgotten is that their talk shows are supposed to be entertainment, not political news.

Donald Trump is known by friends and foes alike to make false and inaccurate statements regularly to the American people as the president.

But when an opponent who's a comedian -- whose employer benefits from a Federal Communications Commission license -- criticizes MAGA, however unfairly or inaccurately, the government threatens to pull his network's license?

As Luke 12:1 says: "Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy."

While reading The Post's article on Jimmy Kimmel, I immediately thought I was fine with ABC yanking Kimmel off the air for his crude remarks over Charlie Kirk's assassination.

However, on closer look, even Kimmel has a right to his free speech, too.

Free speech even extends to stupid speech, such as Kimmel's.

A private entity has the right to fire someone who says or does something detrimental to a company's image.

I think ABC should force Kimmel to make a public apology for his insensitive remarks.

Yanking him off the air just gives him more power with all the loonies on the left.

So one of the great hypocrites of modern time, the obscenely unfunny Jimmy Kimmel, who performed in blackface and objectified young women earlier during his career, has lost his job.

So, Donald Trump has bullied Disney and ABC into suspending Jimmy Kimmel.

It's not reassuring to know that Trump threatened an ABC news reporter who asked about Attorney General Pam Bondi's crackdown on "hate speech."

Have we forgotten what George Washington said about free speech?

"The freedom of speech may be taken away, and dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep, to the slaughter."

Kimmel was suspended for accumulating too many negative airings, and not just his insensitive monologue about Charlie Kirk.

ABC's higher-ups were looking for a reason to rid themselves of the not-funny "comedian."

It's about time ABC woke up and put an end to lies, like the one Kimmel said on air.

Stretching the truth is one thing, but outright lying should not be tolerated.

Now get "The View" off the air, too, and prove that you mean business.

In today's polarized climate, facts and truth seem to have no meaning.

The far left simply makes up anything that fits its narrative, and (with the help of willing media, academia and entertainment venues) just keep spreading it around.

As Nazi propaganda chief Josef Goebbels reportedly said: "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it."

If Kimmel is so upset about being pulled off air, maybe he should join Rosie O'Donnell and move to Ireland.

Better yet, they both can give up their citizenship here.
