Johnny Depp has returned to Paris Fashion Week over 30 years after his last appearance at the fashion event.
The circuit has only just begun, but on Wednesday, Oct. 1, Dior presented its Spring/Summer 2026 runway show with a host of buzzy front row guests, including Depp, 62, who attended his first Dior show within his 10 years of working with the brand.
The actor channeled fall menswear in a look that leaned business casual. He styled a gray double-breasted blazer with a dark green checkered shirt and cuffed dark-wash jeans that showed off his paint-splattered boots. He accessorized with a sunglasses and a pocket square.
The Pirate of the Caribbean star's signature long locks were mostly covered by his charcoal gray fedora, although he left a few side strands loose.
Depp became the face of Dior's men's fragrance, Dior Sauvage, in 2015 and has worked with the house ever since.
In fact, he renewed his contract with the label in 2023 with a $20 million-plus deal, according to a report from Variety. At the time, the publication labeled the deal as the largest in men's fragrance. Previously, the largest was Dior's $12 million deal with Robert Pattinson. The actor's partnership made headlines in 2022, particularly because one of his ads hit primetime just one week after Depp won in his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard.
Before the Dior show, Depp made a pit stop at the Stella McCartney presentation. He wore a black tweed suit with a coordinating striped scarf and posed backstage with the namesake designer.
As many red carpets as he has attended over the decades, Depp has seldom attended Fashion Week. The last time he appeared to have attended the high-profile event was in the '90s.
At the time, he was photographed at a party with Kate Moss, who also made her routine outing to Paris for the Saint Laurent show on Monday, Sept. 29.
This summer, Depp promoted his film, Modì, Three Days on the Wing of Madness, in the United Kingdom, where he's been residing.
In an April 29 interview with U.K. magazine Somerset Life, he revealed that he swapped Hollywood for the rural English county of Somerset and praised the area for allowing him to live more comfortably out of the spotlight.
"British people are cool and will greet you as if you are a neighbor without going over the top," he shared. "I don't mind if people want an autograph or a brief chat but not when I am having some private time with my family."
