She made her name on Sex and the City as a fearless New York fashionista.

Kim Cattrall, playing confident, sexually liberated PR executive Samantha Jones, appeared in one designer outfit after another, including luxury names Chanel and Fendi on the HBO show.

There were power suits, fur coats and daring dresses in bright colours and luxury fabrics.

It appears the actress has lost none of her feel for fashion - although this time she's not modelling Manhattan haute couture - but clothes for Debenhams.

Ms Cattrall, who is 70 this summer, posed in a sheer floral trench coat as she fronted a campaign for the former department chain which is now online.

Ms Cattrall wore a £100 vinyl mid-length trench with a belted waist by designer Ashish, along with a selection of floral dresses from the collection, which is said to embody 'garden party dressing reimagined for the city - and for the after-dark invite that inevitably follows'.

In one look, she donned a dark floral press while posing on a couch.

Ms Cattrall declared: 'There's something wonderfully joyful about this second Designers at Debenhams x Ashish collection.
'It's glamorous, yes - but it's also playful and self-aware. It embraces femininity and sparkle without apology.'

In December the star, who has turned down a role in a Sex And The City spin off, married fourth husband, BBC sound engineer Russell Thomas, 54. The intimate ceremony was held at Chelsea Old Town Hall.

While speaking with The Times of London in June 2023, Kim gushed that she was 'very grateful' for her 'lovely' relationship.

She praised their 'nice life,' which came into focus after their initial meeting at the BBC.

She shared that Russell kept in touch with her after her appearance on the BBC Radio 4 show, and he followed her on Twitter (now X).

'He direct messaged me,' she told Glamour in 2018. 'It was very, very modern [and] it's just been very easy.'

Things really began to heat up after he flew out to her home in Vancouver, Canada, to spend time with her.

A more casual look saw her in a multi-coloured patterned shirt and light blue jeans

'It was very brave of him because we didn't really know each other other than having a few meals together. But he came and we got along great,' she told People in 2020. 'And we've been together ever since!'

Kim explained to The Times that, where her earlier relationships had been more 'instinctual,' her relationship with Thomas had a 'really gradual' progression.

'Our lives were so separate and so different,' Cattrall said. 'It's a nice life and I'm very grateful for that.'
