Kyle Sandilands has announced a shock new career move almost two year after signing a 10-year $200million radio deal.

The KIIS FM star, 53, revealed on his The Kyle & Jackie O show on Monday morning that he is making his movie debut alongside Chuck Norris for the actor's final-ever film.

Sandilands will star in the upcoming Australian action comedy Zombie Plane, which tells the story of high-profile celebrities fighting Zombies on a flight from Sydney to Los Angeles.

It stars Chuck Norris, Vanilla Ice, Ice T, Sir Bob Geldof, Brian Austin Green and Sophie Monk as fictitious versions of themselves.

Australian stars Natalie Bassingwaithe, Cody Simpson, Matt Okine, Dan Ewing and Amy Shark are also set to appear in the film.

'I don't know whether you'd call it 'movie star', or would you call it a cameo just playing myself in a movie. But yes, I'm doing this,' Kyle revealed on air.

Kyle also admitted that he was quite chuffed to be starring alongside his childhood hero, action veteran Chuck Norris.

'Didn't you use to watch Chuck Norris growing up and want to be him?' Jackie 'O' Henderson asked her co-star, to which he replied 'Oh, 100 per cent yes.'
'Imagine if someone came along and told your younger self, don't worry, Kyle. You're homeless now but one day, you're going to be in a movie with Chuck Norris,' Jackie added.
'I would've probably not believed them, Jackie,' the future movie star replied.

Kyle then went on to explain the action packed plot of the upcoming flick.

'Prepare yourself. Zombie Plane. That's right. Zombie Plane,' Kyle said, revealing the film's title.
'Sydney to LA, a flight is taken over by zombies and an eclectic group of high-profile passengers led by celebrities turned secret agents, must band together to fight to save humanity. Have you ever heard of a better plot ever?

Jackie agreed, saying the film had 'Oscars written all over it'.

'I'm actually picking out my Oscars outfit now,' Kyle said in anticipation of his soon-to-be superstardom.
'Who's doing the soundtrack? FloRida. Hello. Everything's lined up for success here. I love it. We'll be going to Cannes, probably. We'll be going to all the film festivals. Probably.'

He added: 'Move over, Leo. You've had your turn. It's Sandilands' turn.'

While admitting the script was under strict embargo, Kyle did spill some details of what his role would entail.

'I'm playing myself as a very rich man on a super yacht,' he said.
'Then a big American submarine pops u and out pops Ice T who's in charge of the submarine and I've got to help them.'

He also revealed that his scenes would require a full day's filming on the Gold Coast this week.

'I'm flying to the Gold Coast today and I film tomorrow all day. I'll still do the radio show in the morning from the hotel then I'll be off to the film set,' he said.

While Hollywood may be beckoning, Kyle still has plenty of life in his radio career yet.

Kyle and Jackie signed a record-breaking $200 million deal with Australian Radio Network (ARN) in November 2023 that would see them remain on airwaves until 2034 - earning a whopping $10m per year salary each.

In January, the duo opened up about what their extensive contracts stated would happen to the show if one of them were to die.

'I've got a whole page in there about what happens if you die,' Jackie told Kyle.
'Oh yes, I've got that as well. Actually, I've had that for quite a few years. And I think you only just put that in yours this year,' her co-host confessed.
