Kylie Jenner is facing backlash for posting a video in which her friends gush over how 'green' her eyes look, despite the reality star's natural eye color being light brown.
The seemingly innocuous clip, shared to her Instagram Story last week, shows the 28-year-old beauty mogul sitting at lunch with her friends.
At the start of the video, Jenner cheerfully asks them to repeat what they just said.
'What did you guys say?' she asks as one friend exclaims that her 'eyes look so green right now.'
Then, another friend chimes in: 'They are so light!'
Critics quickly took to Reddit to mock the exchange, with one user writing, 'Why is she so obsessed with having green eyes? WTF... it's creepy. Like, just buy green contacts and be done with it.'
Another user added, 'This is DELUSION at its maximum level.'
Others piled on, branding the mother-of-two 'SICKENINGLY full of herself' and 'delusional, along with her little army of deluded Kyliars (Kylie's fans) who believe anything she says.'
Some even accused Jenner of wearing colored contact lenses to make her eyes appear lighter -- or, more outrageously, of paying her friends to make the claim.
This isn't the first time Jenner has shown pride in her eye color.
In a 2018 GQ video titled Kylie Jenner Asks Travis Scott 23 Questions, the billionaire grilled her then-boyfriend about everything from herself and their daughter, Stormi, to her family history.
At one point, she asked him, 'What color are my eyes?'
'Green, sometimes yellow!' he replied, much to her delight.
Jenner looked thrilled by his answer, immediately rushing over to hug him and give him a quick kiss as she said, 'I love you.'

Scott then explained that he, of course, knew the answer because 'it's a big deal [to her].'
And back in 2016, Jenner admitted on Instagram that she was 'very proud of the tiny bit of green in' her eyes.
'Brown eyed girls know,' she captioned a car selfie showing off the golden and green flecks in her hazel gaze.
In 2020, Jenner revealed on Keeping Up With the Kardashians that her 'vision started to progressively get worse' after her pregnancy with Stormi Webster, seven.
'So I went and got glasses, and now it’s to the point where I almost have to wear glasses all the time. Like, I can’t see, like, 10 feet in front of me,' she said. 'I have to wear glasses to drive, watch TV, even to look at my daughter’s face. It’s starting to just affect my daily life.'
Ultimately, she decided to get Lasik eye surgery, like her older sister Kim Kardashian.
