A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE that Officers responded to reports of a man "nude in the street" on Ventura Blvd on Thursday, Aug. 21.
Lil Nas X has entered a not-guilty plea after facing four felony charges for his Aug. 21 arrest.
On Monday, Aug. 25, the "Industry Baby" singer -- who was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer last week -- waived his arraignment and pled not guilty to three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting executive officer, the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office confirms to PEOPLE.
The judge has set his bail at $75,000 and must attend Narcotics Anonymous meetings, Reuters reports.
The rapper and singer appeared before a judge on Monday morning, TMZ reports, and per California penal code, convictions of felony battery on a police officer and resisting executive officer can see jail time of up to three years, as well as a $10,000 fine, for each charge.
On Thursday, Aug. 21, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE that officers responded to reports of a man "nude in the street" on Ventura Blvd just before 6 a.m.
PEOPLE confirmed that the suspect was the "Industry Baby" musician and that he went on to allegedly "batter an officer, so he was booked for battery on a [peace officer]," the spokesperson said at the time.
Lil Nas X was taken to the hospital for treatment following the arrest and has since been discharged and put through the booking process, PEOPLE confirmed.
According to the booking report, the "Old Town Road" hitmaker was charged with a misdemeanor and booked at 11:22 a.m.
TMZ published photos that appeared to show Lil Nas X walking down Ventura Blvd. in only underwear and boots around 4 a.m., hours after the arrest.
Per the outlet, multiple calls were made to law enforcement to report a possible overdose; however, the spokesperson was unable to confirm at the time.
A rep for the star did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment at the time.
In February, Lil Nas X shared a video of himself discussing new music and acknowledging that he had been "flaky" and "all over the place."
"These last few years were pretty difficult for me," he said, per a video shared by a fan account on X. "They have been pretty difficult for me."
He further noted what fans can expect from his music. "I'm just now, like arriving to this place of feeling confidence in myself and what I'm doing. And I'm trying to make sure I put intention towards my music and my vision and the creativity of it all," said the "J CHRIST" artist.
In April, Lil Nas X shared an Instagram video taken from a hospital bed that revealed he was suffering from facial paralysis.
He later noted he said he was doing OK and asked fans to "stop being sad" for him: "Imma look funny for a lil bit but that's it," he wrote.
