BBC Radio 6 Music has announced it will be hosting its annual live music festival at a series of grassroots venues across Greater Manchester.
The four-day event will run from 25 -28 March at independent venues including Manchester's Band on the Wall, YES and Eccles Town Hall Ballroom.
Performances will include sets from the likes of Bloc Party and DJs including Nick Grimshaw.
Grimshaw said he was "excited", adding: "These independent spaces are vital for culture and a space where artists are given the freedom to take risks, grow, and truly flourish. I can't wait."
Tickets for each event are sold separately and will go on sale at 10:00 GMT on Thursday.
Wednesday 25 March:
- The festival will kick-off at 19:00 GMT with BBC Introducing hosting an evening at Band on the Wall with artists TTSSFU, pyncher and Ellen Beth Abdi.
Thursday 26 March:
- DJ Kelly Lee Owens and Wesley Joseph at Band on the Wall from 19:00
- Mandy, Indiana and SILVERWINGKILLER at YES from 19:00
Friday 27 March:
- Bloc Party and The Horrors at Band on the Wall from 19:00
- Yard Act and Sorry at YES from 19:00
- Indie Forever club night with Steve Lamacq, Beth Ditto, Nick Grimshaw, Emily Pilbeam, Nathan Shepherd, and Lambrini Girls at YES from midnight.
Saturday 28th March:
- 6 Music Festival and FaT OuT present Lauren Auder, Naima Bock and R.AGGS at Eccles Town Hall Ballroom from 15:00
- Courtney Barnett and Jacob Alon at Band on the Wall from 19:00
- Lynks and Tiberius b at YES from 19:00
- Homobloc presents 6 Music's Festival's Closing Party with Olof Dreijer at YES from 23:30
Tickets for each event will cost £16, plus a £1.50 booking fee, a £1.50 venue restoration levy and a £1.25 handling fee per transaction.
A maximum purchase of four tickets per event will apply and all ticket holders must be over 18.
Festival coverage across the four days will be broadcast on BBC Radio 6 and BBC Sounds.

BBC Radio Manchester will also bring listeners highlights from Band on the Wall as part of a special programme from 26 March at 20:00.
The Radio Manchester Breakfast Show with Joe McGrath will continue to follow the festival from Friday 27 March at 06:00.
