They're one of Hollywood's strongest couples.

But Lisa Rinna was once apprehensive about giving Harry Hamlin a chance when he first started pursuing her.

The couple have been married for nearly 30 years and have two daughters together, but Rinna recently revealed she was initially 'freaked out' by the superstar's interest in her.

'I was in Medford, Oregon, for Christmas and he was calling,' she said during a talk at 92NY last week, according to People.

Rinna, 62, was in disbelief that an actor as famous as Hamlin, 74, would be attempting to woo her.

'I was kind of freaked out, to be honest, because he was such a big star at the time,' she said. 'He was on LA Law. He'd been married to Nicolette [Sheridan] and it was overwhelming. So I didn't see myself in that league.'

Hamlin proceeded to call her for 'two weeks straight' and even invited her to join him in Aspen for Christmas - an offer she found 'creepy.'

'I was like, "That's creepy,"' she recalled. 'Most people would have jumped at it, right? It would have been like, "Honey, I'm going to Aspen!" And I'm like, "I'm going to stay at my parents" in Medford."'

But Hamlin’s consistent phone calls eventually won her over.

'I think that's what finally got me to open up. I talked to him and I got to know him and he's so smart and he's kind and he's a great human,' she said.

The couple wed in 1997 and now have daughters Delilah Belle Hamlin, 27, and Amelia Gray Hamlin, 24, together.

Rinna has been in the spotlight as of late with the release of her memoir, You Better Believe I'm Gonna Talk About It, as well as her starring turn on The Traitors.

She's left nothing off the table in her memoir - including addressing rumors her husband is gay.

'Let's just clear this up one last time, once and for all: Harry's heterosexual,' wrote Rinna. 'He is not a gay man in any way, shape or form, not that there's anything wrong with that.'

Married since 1997, the lovebirds are now one of Hollywood's strongest couples

Rinna made the revelation during a chat at 92NY in the Big Apple last week

She was unaware of the rumor until joining the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: 'I just figured b*hes will say anything to get my hackles up, so it never concerned me,' she said. 'My reaction was always more, "why you mad, boo?"'

Rinna wrote that 'every husband's sexuality was questioned at some point on that show.'

'When you're a good-looking man in Hollywood with a good sense of style, that adds up to "is he gay?"' she continued.

Hamlin's sexuality faced scrutiny following the release of Making Love, Rinna said.

'Mainstream films about gay men are still rare today, but back then it was unheard of,' she said.

But the movie was apparently detrimental to Hamlin's acting career.

Rinna claimed Hamlin was 'blacklisted for several years afterward' in Hollywood before finally booking a role with a major studio decades later.

However, Rinna is proud of her husband for appearing in the film - one which she previously described as 'groundbreaking.'

When announcing he had booked his first major role in years (the 2023 film 80 For Brady, in which he played Jane Fonda's love interest) - Rinna praised her husband on Instagram.

'I'd like to share a little story about my husband. 40 years ago he starred in a Movie for @20thcenturystudios called Making Love. It was the first gay love story controversial and groundbreaking. 40 years later Harry just got his first Studio movie.'
'He hasn't worked for a MAJOR film studio in 40 years. Talk about Tenacity and standing your ground and risk-taking and being a f- - - ing Stud!!! I'm so blessed and honored to be able to call myself his wife. Congrats Harry Hamlin!!!!!!!'

The movie opened to mixed reviews, but is considered trailblazing.
