Lizzo has not had alcohol in two months, she revealed in an Instagram Story on Thursday.
The 37-year-old singer, who just gave a candid sex confession, posted a TikTok meme of a ghoulish character with the caption, 'When my [homegirls] think getting me drunk will be fun but I genuinely give off this vibe when drunk.'
She added along the bottom of the clip: '2 months no alcohol.'
It comes after the music artist shed 60lbs after beginning an intentional 'weight release journey' in late 2023.
And in July 2025 she detailed her fitness routine and diet, which includes 'training 3x a week, daily sauna & cardio' and a streamlined diet.
At the time she noted that she had 'quit drinking for the longest' but reincorporated it into her lifestyle because she'd 'earned it.'
Lizzo also said that she'd added 'animal protein back into my diet, hiring a chef who helps me meal prep' and eliminated 'sugary Starbucks & full fat sodas & potato chips.'
Outlining her physical activity, she listed, 'I play pickleball and hike and walk on the beach and move my body and dance and drink water.'
The star, real name Melissa Jefferson, was a guest on Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast in April 2025, where she discussed her transformation.
Addressing her shrinking frame, she declared, 'I have been on an intentional weight release journey.'
'I put it on the internet. I posted about it, and I think over the last year and a half, as I've been doing it, my body has been changing - very slowly - but I don't think people were paying attention.'
She opened up, 'I was still very anti-fatphobia on this entire journey.'
'But I think that we gotta remember: everybody's not seeing your sh*t all the time; everybody's not seeing every video you post; everybody's not privy to what you're going through.'
And Lizzo acknowledged, 'I think [my weight loss] was shocking to a lot of people.'

Lizzo, who won her first Grammy in January 2020, clarified that 'it was not the night of Grammys' but soon after.
'I feel a weight off of my chest right now,' she added. 'It was so embarrassing. I was in a friend group of girls. We were all girling one night and it was like, "Wait, Lizzo are you a virgin?"'
'I remember it was so embarrassing. I said, "I love the D." I said that. And it held me over for a little while.'
Lizzo has been dating musician and comedian Myke Wright since 2022.
