Gia Fleur threatened to walk from Married At First Sight on Monday, while refusing to take part in the experiment's Partner Swap challenge.
The drama started early with Gia storming out on groom Scott McCristal after they had an argument about the groom not professing his love during Sunday's commitment ceremony.
'I'm not going to sit here and beg for love, I'm never going to be that kind of girl. If you're not in love, buddy, just say it,' she said, before leaving a very confused Scott scratching his head on the couch.
Gia did return to the apartment when she and Scott were presented with the Couple Swap challenge.
She was clearly not happy, particularly at the prospect of being paired with rivals Bec Zacharia and Danny Hewitt.
'I need to know who it is,' she said.
While Scott was off having a very productive one-on-one with Stella Mickunaite, back at the apartment a storm was brewing
'If we have to do this with Bec and Danny I don't want to do it. I'm not doing it.'
Gia continued: 'I just don't feel the need of getting ready to go and it ends up being someone I hate,' she said.
Scott managed to convince Gia to participate by saying: 'It's only a couple of hours, I don't see any harm.'

While she initially agreed to participate in the task, Gia quickly had a change of heart.
As producers returned to the apartment they were met with Gia's wardrobe strewn around the bedroom.
As she hid in the bathroom, producers pleaded with Gia to explain what she was doing.
'I'm not doing it,' she flatly responded before signalling her intention to walk away from the experiment.

'You guys can all f yourselves at this point,' she added. 'I don't know why the f this is an important thing to do today.'
Continuing, Gia told producers that she was unconcerned with the opinions of experts John Aitken, Mel Schilling, and Alessandra Rampolla.
'This experiment is full of s*,' she said. 'And I don't really care what the experts have to say.'
In an ironic twist, Gia was paired with Danny for the partner swap, and he was left alone, and secretly chuffed with Gia's absence.
Stella's chat with Scott only served to raise red flags after she said that Gia's penchant for drama could very well follow the couple into the real world.
'From what you see in Gia, is this going to happen outside the experiment?' Scott asked before Stella slowly nodded her head.
'Most likely,' she said, before he asked:'Do you think it's going to be an ongoing problem?'
'It's going to be the same,' she replied.

MAFS bride Stella lays down the law after her sex life with husband Filip hit a rough patch
While Scott said he felt Stella’s advice was ‘reasonable’, he stopped short of giving Gia the full details of their conversation.
‘I felt a little bit nervous to say what was said a bit,’ he revealed to producers.
Speaking to Gia, Scott ‘glossed over’ his conversation with Stella.
‘We were just rehashing stuff you and I have already spoken about. I said we just found it difficult to go through a hurdle where you don’t want to go through the experiment and not having met the same feelings yet,’ Scott said.
‘She said go with every day. She said the time will come. Just keep doing what you’re doing.’
He then touched on Stella’s assertion that Gia was a ‘drama chaser’ saying: ‘She was saying if there was drama outside are you someone who likes to be involved in other people’s stuff.’
Gia responded that her penchant for drama was something that only manifested during the experiment.
‘I don’t partake in drama in real life,’ she said. ‘I’m a mum - I don’t have time for that s*.’
Regardless, Gia was not impressed with another bride looking at her relationship under a microscope.
When Scott asked if she was okay, Gia replied: ‘I just don’t really care for her feedback.’
