Personal Experience
I've always loved the makeup on Euphoria - but as someone who typically sticks to no or minimal makeup, I've always admired it from afar.
But when I saw that the artist behind some of the show's most iconic looks - I'm looking at you, Zendaya's glitter tears - had their own brand that newly launched at Sephora, I knew I had to try it.
I was super excited to try the Glitterpuck - the pressed glitter is super pigmented, and just one big swipe got enough glitter to cover my entire eyelid. Shade Glimmer Pop looks ultra-glittery (much more in real life), and the rose gold hue looks great by itself or layered over shadow.
I also tried one of the Eyeshadow Singles in shade Blushing Lizard, a pink that has a purple or blue iridescent hue - it’s quintessentially Euphoria.
The creamy pigmented formula is really buildable - you can make it a sheer shimmer by applying with a brush, but if you want a more intense glittery look, applying with your finger gives you the most impressive results.
Both the Glitterpuck and eyeshadows didn't crease, and I was thoroughly impressed with the very minimal fallout.
However, they were quite difficult to take off properly. Using both cleansing pads and balms still left me with specs of glitter all over my face and hands - even after a shower, and while it's not too noticeable, this does make it not an everyday makeup item (at least for me).
I also tried the Magic Drip lip gloss in shade Y2K Cherub - this I didn't love as much. It's quite nourishing, but the texture feels a little gritty from the glitter, which isn't a complete dealbreaker, but I'm unlikely to reach for this over any of my other lip glosses.
The Cheek Fluff, however, is a winner in my books. In shade Magic Brownie, it’s a bit darker than I’d usually pick for a blush, but the creamy formula effortlessly blends out to a warm, rosy pink that can be easily layered for a more dramatic look.
While most of these items aren't totally suitable for everyday wear, they'll undoubtedly be my go-tos for when I'm creating fun festival or concert looks this summer. I'll definitely be picking up more shades of the eyeshadow singles.
