Maya Hawke married her longtime partner, Christian Lee Hutson, in a star‑studded Valentine's Day ceremony in New York City on February 14, 2026.

In attendance were her famous parents, Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke and an array of Stranger Things castmates, including Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton.

Hawke, 27, is best known for starring as Robin Buckley in Stranger Things and is also a musician.

The wedding took place at St. George's Episcopal Church in Manhattan, followed by a reception at The Players club in Gramercy Park. Hawke wore a Prada classic white gown -- paired with a winter coat in some photos -- while Hutson, 35, opted for a black tuxedo.

Christian Lee Hutson is a 35‑year‑old American singer‑songwriter, known for his indie folk style.

Hutson was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on November 5, 1990, and grew up in Los Angeles after his parents separated.

He originally wanted to be a novelist, but shifted toward music after receiving a guitar at age 12. Early inspirations included Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, John Prine and Elliott Smith.

Hutson first performed as part of the folk duo The Driftwood Singers before going solo. He is now an established indie artist signed to ANTI- and has released three studio albums:

All three albums were co‑produced by Phoebe Bridgers, a frequent collaborator. Hutson has also co‑written and performed with artists including Samia, Marshall Vore, Conor Oberst and Ethan Gruska.

Music is what brought the couple together. Hutson co‑wrote and helped produce several tracks on Hawke's albums Moss (2022) and Chaos Angel (2024), and Hawke contributed vocals to his own work, including Paradise Pop. 10.

They first met while working on music and became friends long before dating. Hawke has openly said she "cannot recommend highly enough dating your friends," praising the comfort and understanding at the heart of their relationship.

On working with Hawke, Hutson told Extra in November 2024: "I just have so much fun writing with her, similar to Phoebe [Bridgers].
"I think she really understands how my brain works and is very good at helping flesh out the little world. It's fun to be bouncing these characters around with her, and it's just unbelievable."

The pair were first romantically linked in 2023 when they were photographed kissing in New York City. Engagement rumors followed in 2025 when Hawke was spotted wearing a ring, with Hutson later confirming the engagement in an interview.

Hutson was previously married to singer‑songwriter Sharon Silva, but they later divorced.

He has been open about experiencing primarily obsessional obsessive‑compulsive disorder, something he has discussed in interviews about his upbringing and artistic process.
