Majors' mom Terri Anderson-Watson also spoke about how she supported the couple and the moment she knew they were ready to tie the knot.

The couple appeared on the Tamron Hall Show on Thursday, Sept. 11, and opened up about their nuptials. They were joined by Majors' mom, Terri Anderson-Watson, who officiated the wedding.

At the beginning of the segment, the Harlem alum, 45, and the Magazine Dreams actor, 36, shared never-before-seen photos of their special day. The images showed the pair at the altar in their wedding attire.

Good said her vows in a cream lace gown with spaghetti straps, which she paired with a short netted white veil. Majors, meanwhile, wore a white buttoned shirt over cream pants. He accessorized with a large silver watch.

The two were all smiles as they held hands for one snap and shared a kiss for another. A third photo showed the newlyweds taking selfies with their moms.

Host Tamron Hall then asked Anderson-Watson, who works as a pastor and licensed therapist, about how she supported the couple.

"It was a strange position to be in," the mom said. "As the pastor, I was concerned about their spiritual position in marriage because this is a vow they're making before God. It had to be for real. It had to be deep, and it had to be lasting."

She continued to say that Good and Majors went through counseling before they got their marriage license.

Anderson-Watson also made sure they discussed their commitment to one another, their faith and their plans for the future - including the possibility of having children.

"There's so much of that independence going on with them both being who they are and having all this life that they have. How are they going to be the difference in the industry, in their marriage?" she posed.

Good and Majors began dating in May 2023 and got engaged in November 2024. A source confirmed the couple's nuptials to PEOPLE in March 2025. "They truly care for one another," the insider said at the time.

Initial reports of their relationship came two months after Majors was charged with physically assaulting a woman while riding in a New York taxi cab in March 2023.

That December, the actor was found guilty of misdemeanor assault in the third degree, recklessly causing physical injury and harassment in the second degree, which is a violation. He was later sentenced to participate in a one-year domestic violence treatment program.

The Think Like a Man actress was married to DeVon Franklin for nine years before their split in December 2021.

Anderson-Watson recalled how Good supported Majors during his assault trial, saying she "knew that they were ready from the moment I met Megan."

"She came as his friend and handed me anointing oil as I prayed for him, and then took this man as a friend in her arms and held his head in her hands, and cried and prayed with him," the mom remembered.

In August, Good shared an Instagram post that showed her celebrating her birthday with her husband and extended family.

"THEE MOST EPIC BIRTHDAY FAMILY TRIP EVER! Such beautiful memories I will cherish for a lifetime. I love each and everyone of you with my full entire heart," she captioned a carousel of photos and videos from their coastal getaway to Cartagena, Colombia.

Among the footage was a clip of herself and Majors enjoying a nighttime walk through the city, as well as shots of the group aboard a boat.
