After decades in prison for a murder he committed when he was 15, Trevor T. Relerford had a second chance after juvenile life sentences were ruled unconstitutional.

He's heading back to prison after drunkenly crashing into a Michigan State Police patrol vehicle.

Relerford, now 51, appeared before Saginaw County Circuit Judge Darnell Jackson for sentencing the afternoon of Nov. 24.

'Menace to society' returned to prison for killing woman in drunken Saginaw Township crash

The woman began arguing with the 39-year-old man about him babysitting her child, prosecutors allege. Williams, 51, ended up punching the younger man and a fight ensued, prosecutors allege.

Williams drew a folding knife and repeatedly stabbed the younger man, causing multiple lacerations, prosecutors contend. Numerous bystanders witnessed the assault, prosecutors allege.
