Viewers were stunned after watching the new Netflix true crime documentary 'Biggest Heist Ever', which many deemed to be stranger than fiction.
The documentary tells the story of Ilya 'Dutch' Lichtenstein and Heather 'Razzlekhan' Morgan - a married couple who laundered $4.5 billion in stolen Bitcoin in 2016.
The laundered money came from $72 billion worth of Bitcoin stolen from the Hong Kong-based virtual cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex.
The married couple were arrested in New York for conspiracy to launder cryptocurrency in 2022.
By then, Morgan was three years into her so-called music career and called herself the 'Crocodile of Wall Street.'
She is now one of the prime focuses of Netflix's latest crime documentary 'Biggest Heist Ever,' which X users called 'wild' and 'bonkers.'
'"Biggest Heist Ever" on Netflix was a good documentary. The wife is a whole weirdo tho,' an X user wrote.
Others were shocked that they had never heard of the case before given its twists and turns.
Convicted felons Ilya 'Dutch' Lichtenstein and Heather 'Razzlekhan' Morgan are the center of the new Netflix documentary 'Biggest Heist Ever'

'There are still a lot of unanswered questions and things that just don't add up. Govt claims "national security issues" at play,' the user added.
Several X users supported the documentary and recommended fans to stream it when they can.
'Watching Biggest Heist Ever on Netflix. Let me just say it's those hackers and coders you always gotta keep an eye on. Super interesting show,' an X user tweeted.

'The girl in particular is one of those characters you occasionally meet in life and then keep a very wide berth of because she has more confidence than sanity. A dangerous mix.'
Lichtenstein and Morgan were arrested for laundering $4.5 billion in stolen bitcoin in 2016
Social media users were stunned, intrigued, and left with several questions after watching 'Biggest Heist Ever'
The government managed to seize $3.6 billion of the stolen cryptocurrency after law enforcement arrested Lichtenstein and Morgan.
After they pair were cuffed, Deputy Attorney General Lisa O. Monaco stated cryptocurrency was 'not a safe haven for criminals' in a 2022 statement.
'In a futile effort to maintain digital anonymity, the defendants laundered stolen funds through a labyrinth of cryptocurrency transactions,' Monaco said.
'Thanks to the meticulous work of law enforcement, the department once again showed how it can and will follow the money, no matter what form it takes.'
Law enforcement discovered 25,000 of the 119,754 bitcoin stolen from Bitfinex were transferred out of Lichtenstein's wallet - with some of the funds being deposited into financial accounts controlled by him and Morgan, according to a press release from the US Department of Justice.
Officers found the transactions after obtaining search warrants for Lichtenstein and Morgan's online accounts.
The couple were both charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering, and conspiracy to defraud the United States.
Lichtenstein and Morgan each pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering on August 3, 2023.
Morgan continues to post social media on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube after receiving an 18-month prison sentence in November 2024
Lichtenstein was sentenced to five years in prison and three years of supervised release for his role in the money laundering scheme on November 14.
He has received credit for the 29 months he has served in custody since his arrest and could be released from prison in less than two years if credited for good behavior, according to CNBC.
Morgan allegedly did not know about the scene until 2020 and received an 18-month prison sentence on November 18.
Despite the jail sentences, Morgan has posted photos and videos on her social media accounts afterward.
Both have shown remorse for their actions while in court and Lichtenstein even pleaded with a judge not to give Morgan any jail time.
Prior to her life of crime catching up with her, Morgan was a wannabe rapper who went by the name Razzlekhan
Prior to her arrest, Morgan was a wannabe rapper who posted several cringey YouTube videos of her songs.
The convicted felon walked around Wall Street during one of her music videos while reciting these lyrics: ‘I’m many things, a rapper, an economist, a journalist, a writer, a CEO, and a dirty, dirty, dirty dirty h.’
Her website explains that ‘Just like her fearless entrepreneurial spirit and hacker mindset, Razz shamelessly explores new frontiers of art.’
Morgan claimed that she experiences synesthesia when music can be heard but shapes or colors can be seen.
However, what hoped to be a success turned into a major flop after she started releasing music.
Some of Morgan’s so-called growing career was mentioned in ‘Biggest Heist Ever,’ including the unfavorable reviews made by those who listened to her songs.
‘Her delivery is tuneless, the bars are cringe and the accompanying music video isn’t much better,’ a reviewer wrote in 2022 for Endgadget.
Morgan released about a dozen songs by 2022 and has rapped about topics like investing in Bitcoin and flaws in the American healthcare system.
Her latest work she shared in a YouTube video described her feelings about the situation and her husband.
‘Sharing some thoughts & feelings for the first time since my high-profile Fed Case regarding my husband’s hack of Bitfinex. Despite his actions, I still love him deeply,’ Morgan wrote in the video’s description box.
