Oasis are reportedly planning a new tour for 2027 with the possibility of new music for the first time in nearly two decades.

Oasis famously broke up 15 years ago after a furious bust-up between Liam and Noel Gallagher, before they reunited for a mammoth comeback tour in July.

The band are now believed to be planning to announce a string of new dates across the UK, Europe and North America and could perform new music during the gigs, according to the Sun.

A source told the publication: 'Noel and Liam are taking a well-deserved break from the road this year to recuperate.
'But they know the fans are hungry for more so they want to strike while the iron is hot.'
'Noel has been busy writing and they have all year to record. He was really inspired last year and is full of ideas', they added.

They are also said to be lining up friend Miles Kane from the Last Shadow Puppets to support the hitmakers on many dates.

The Daily Mail has contacted Oasis's representatives for a comment.

Liam and Noel's tumultuous relationship famously saw Oasis break up 15 years ago as a result of backstage bust-ups, walk-outs and numerous booze-fuelled arguments.

After working through countless bickers since they shot to stardom in the 1990s, fans were left devastated when a dressing room feud in Paris tore the band apart in 2009.

Noel issued a statement at the time, saying: 'It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight.'

'People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.'

In another statement a few days later, titled Tales From The Middle Of Nowhere, Noel added: 'I feel you have the right to know that the level of verbal and violent intimidation towards me, my family, friends and comrades has become intolerable.'

'And the lack of support and understanding from my management and band mates has left me with no other option than to get me cape and seek pastures new.'

In the years that have followed, a feud and bitter fighting has ensued with the brothers trading insults back and forth in interviews and on social media.

Despite delight over their reunion, fans anxiously worried that the warring siblings may not make it to their gigs.

However, they were overjoyed to find the tour went off without a hitch.

Noel is set to receive a major honour at the 2026 BRIT Awards later this month.

The BRIT Awards 2026 with Mastercard will take place on Saturday, February 28, from Manchester's Co-op Live, broadcasting on ITV and hosted by Jack Whitehall.

Noel will be awarded this year's Songwriter of the Year award, and is expected to be among a string of big names in attendance for the ceremony.

Stacey Tang, Chair of the 2026 BRIT Awards Committee and Co-President of RCA Records at Sony Music UK said: 'For more than three decades, Noel has crafted songs that have become part of our collective story - bold, brilliant, and always recognisable.
'His songs have soundtracked memories for multiple generations and defined the spirit of British music globally.'

She continued: 'Honouring Noel as Songwriter of the Year celebrates a remarkable body of work and a creative force that continues to connect and inspire artists and fans worldwide.'

A source added to The Sun: 'The Brits are planning a special visual tribute to Noel too, which will showcase some of the highlights of his work before he picks up the awards.'
