Selena Gomez may have ended her romance with Justin Bieber all the way back in 2018, but it appears her infamous feud with her ex's wife Hailey Bieber still rages on.
Super model Hailey - who married singer Bieber mere months after the collapse of his on-off relationship with Gomez - has long been 'pitted against' the pop songstress in a war that has surely exhausted both famous women.
Indeed, Hailey, 28, recently decried the constant comparisons between her own brand, Rhode Beauty, and Gomez's Rare Beauty, as particularly 'annoying'.
Speaking to the Wall Street Journal last week, she complained: 'It's always annoying being pitted against other people. I didn't ask for that.'
But for part, it seems Gomez - 33 and newly married to music producer Benny Blanco, 37 - is hoping to 'move on to another chapter in her life' and would love nothing more than for 'all this drama to be behind her,' an insider exclusively tells the Daily Mail.

That'll be news to some fans, who believed Gomez hit back at Hailey's 'annoying' comments in a since-deleted Instagram post on Saturday that read: 'Just leave the girl alone. She can say whatever she wants. Doesn't affect my life whatsoever. It's just about relevance not intelligence. Be kind. All brands inspire me. There is room for everyone. And hopefully we can all stop.'
Our insider explains: '[Hailey and Justin] want to continue to fan the flames, but Selena intends to be the bigger person.'
However, the insider added, 'everyone can be tested... Selena's main goal is now not to worry about Hailey and Justin ever again. They are never going to be friends, and it would be great if they don't keep having to talk about each other.'
As for how Justin feels, our insider said 'Justin trusts Hailey to say what she wants to say and if she gets them into some drama, he's going to ride or die with her, whether it is about Selena or not.'
In fact, Justin, 31, apparently encourages his wife's behavior because he believes the public feud with Gomez 'shows that Hailey loves him - and he loves that'.
Nonetheless, Gomez 'wants to be the mature one', our source said, adding that she has even 'had talks about it' with her new husband and 'they both feel that is the best way to take things for the future.'
The source also confirmed that 'no matter what Hailey says, the recent shade toward Selena was exactly that, and the fans called it out.'
A second source, however, believes the two women have a 'professional rivalry' that is 'not personal,' explaining that now, 'it has nothing to do with Justin at all, no matter how much people try to make it that way.'
If Hailey and Selena were to 'find themselves in the same room, they'd be very nice to each other,' the insider added.
As it was, the pair narrowly avoided each other on the red carpet at the 2025 Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night amid the reignited drama.
