The Princess of Wales' mother, sister, and brother gave their full support for the royal today as they joined her at Westminster Abbey for her Christmas carol concert.

Mother Carol and sister Pippa, 41, put on an equally stylish display as they arrived at the annual festive occasion alongside Kate, 42.

Even after marrying into one of the most famous families in the world, the princess has remained close to the Middleton family. Carol, 69, and her husband Michael have long been known for their hands-on parenting approach.

"Kate is also very close to her sister; the Princess of Wales and her younger sibling are also best friends who spend as much time together as possible."

This time last year Kate was focusing on her work and children. Weeks later she underwent major abdominal surgery in hospital. Doctors found evidence of cancer and advised a course of preventative chemotherapy.

"Kate and her husband Prince William found their lives turned upside down."

Now having completed her treatment, the royal is beginning to return to public duties with 'Together At Christmas' carol service at Westminster Abbey.

"The princess has been 'hands on' over every aspect of the service," said a source.

She is set to be joined by her three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis - along with her husband who will read the first Lesson. The entire Middleton family clan will also be present.

"Her father-in-law has donated Christmas trees from Windsor Great Park," noted a spokesperson from Kensington Palace.
  • The 1,600-strong congregation consists largely of members recommended for community work
  • Members affected by this summer's tragic stabbing in Southport are included among them
  • The family of Liz Hatton was invited; she sadly passed away recently
"RAF veteran Bernard Morgan said: 'It is truly special to be part of The Princess of Wales's Together at Christmas Carol Service.'"

The service’s theme emphasizes empathy inspired by personal experiences this year. Supported by The Royal Foundation, it celebrates individuals supporting those in need through love being highlighted as a central message.

"Appropriately...a group walking towards abbey arms entwined...reads: 'How did I help? You were by my side which was everything.'"

This year's Order features Charlie Macksey’s illustration reflecting messages important during hard times like empathy & kindness—an idea echoed throughout events such as ITV broadcasted performances including Olivia Dean & others while readings delivered highlight poignant themes surrounding love/empathy too!
