If you use an iPhone, your options for emojis have just skyrocketed.

Apple has released its fourth developer beta for iOS 26.4, which includes access to 163 new emojis.

While 150 are skin tone sequences for existing characters, 13 of these are completely new concepts.

A 'hairy creature' emoji shows a Bigfoot-like character, while a 'fight cloud' features a cloud exploding with stars.

Other new options include an orca, a landslide, and a trombone.

However, the new emoji that users are most excited about is the 'distorted face', which features rosy cheeks and bulging eyes.

'This will be a top 5 emoji,' one excited fan wrote on X.
Another added: 'Distorted Face is about to become the most used emoji overnight.'

The new emojis were spotted in the beta update of iOS 26.4 by Emojipedia.

'These updates are in the version of iOS 26.4 beta 4, which is now available for developers,' Emojipedia explained.
'Based on past iOS beta history, the final public release of iOS 26.4 will likely come to users in late March or early April.'

Most of the new emojis are skin tone sequences for the 'people wrestling' and 'people with bunny ears' emojis, which already exist.

However, 13 are brand new.

These are: a distorted face, a fight cloud, an orca, a hairy creature, a trombone, a landslide, a treasure chest, and a ballet dancer (available in yellow or in five different skin tones).

Following the announcement, thousands of fans have flocked to X to discuss the emojis they're most excited to use.

The hairy creature proved popular, with one fan tweeting: 'Bigfoot...FINALLY.'

And one joked: 'Yall are about to see that hairy creature emoji used in the most creative ways possible in these all male group chats.'

The landslide emoji was more divisive.

'Election Twitter will start using this emoji alot,' one user pointed out, while another asked: 'Who even asked for this emoji?'

And one quipped: 'absolutely fantastic news. one of my current troubles in life has been finding myself in situations where i desperately needed to use a landslide emoji.'

However, it was the distorted face that really got people talking, with one claiming it is 'going to be my new go to'.

Another fan posted a screenshot of the emoji, and joked: 'me when my boss asks if ive completed the tasks he asked me to do.'

And one went so far as to claim: 'Distorted Face is gonna break the internet.'

The news comes shortly after Emojipedia revealed nine new emojis that are coming later this year.

The new emojis were quietly uploaded to Unicode's public document archives late last year and have now been revealed by Emojipedia.

Users will have access to two new hand gestures - leftward and rightward thumbs - as well as a squinting face.

Other new options include a meteor, a lighthouse, and a monarch butterfly.

However, the emoji that really has people excited is the pickle - with some suggesting it could replace the aubergine, which is often used to refer to a penis.

Taking to X to discuss the new emoji, one user wrote: 'pickle emoji gonna be huge.'

Another added: 'Eggplant emoji is shaking,' while one joked: 'Pickle emoji about to send the eggplant emoji packing.'
