Sam Smith was joined by longtime partner Christian Cowan at Friday's 72 magazine launch event.
The 33-year-old music artist, who uses they/them pronouns, was clad in full-length black gown with a matching shawl for the occasion.
They added black platform heels and carried a small black handbag.
The Latch hitmaker -- who was spotted in Notting Hill in August -- sported a ginger-toned beard and wore small hoop earrings.
Sam and Christian, 29, held hands as the designer stepped out in a pinstripe black suit and shiny black loafers.
He added a baseball cap with floral embroidery sewn throughout the front during the New York City outing.
Christian shared images from the event on Saturday, including one with 72 Magazine founder Edward Enninful, who was previously the European editorial director of Condé Nast.
He congratulated the fashion pillar via an Instagram Stories post.
Sam and Christian have been together for nearly three years after striking up a romance in late 2022.
They made their red carpet debut at the star-studded Met Gala in May 2024.
The Unholy singer made a statement about his love life in an October 2022 interview with GQ UK.
'Over the last few years, as I've become confident in my skin, I've got loads of wonderful romantic attention. It's been incredible,' they said at the time.
'I've decided that I will always keep that private now. I have had relationships where I've shared stuff online and talked about it here and there. And I just don't want to do that,' the star explained.
Sam noted, 'I think being loved by someone is such a gift -- for yourself. And I think my job can get in the way of that -- the purity of that love -- sometimes.'
Julia Roberts is the cover star for the magazine's inaugural issue, released September 12.
On Friday the 57-year-old actress took to social media to congratulate Edward, who is one of her longtime friends.
'Today is the day! @ee72 ⭐️ @edward_enninful - I adore you and treasure our friendship and the way you bring people together. A shining example of creativity and inclusivity,'
she wrote via instagram.
Earlier this week the magazine's official Instagram account teased the issue, writing online, 'Here it is! Our first issue of 72 Magazine. It's not every day you get to start a new adventure...with Julia Roberts.'
'For our debut issue, the #afterthehunt star sits down with her longtime friend, George Clooney, to talk all things fame, family, staying power, and why their decades of friendship might be their best collab of all.'
