Over the weekend, the 48-year-old actress to attend the third day of New York Comic Con alongside her Breaking Bear costars and posed on the red carpet in a daring outfit.

Her appearance at the convention comes just hours after she paid a heartbreaking tribute to the late actress Michelle Trachtenberg, whom she referred to as a 'little sister,' on what would have been her 40th birthday.

At the event, the Emmy-winning star showed off her toned legs in her all-black ensemble paired with stiletto pumps and dainty silver jewelry to match the beaded details of her open blazer.

At the event, she posed for photos alongside Annie Murphy, Brendan Fraser and Elizabeth Hurley—all of whom are also voice actors in the adult animated comedy series on Tubi.

She and her costars voice characters in 'a dysfunctional family of bears who go full criminal to stop frackers, mobsters and a psychotic wolf pack from destroying their home.'

At the convention, she took the stage for a panel and sat alongside her voice actor costars to talk about their upcoming animated show.

The series was ordered by Tubi in August 2022 and is still currently in post-production.

A release date for the series has not yet been confirmed.

On the same day as New York Comic Con, she remembered Trachtenberg as she penned a tribute to her late friend and former costar on a special day.

Trachtenberg was found at the age of 39 on February 26—over seven months before she would have marked her milestone 40th birthday.

She previously met Trachtenberg on the set of All My Children in the 90s before later starring alongside each other in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Gellar shared a throwback video of her and her late costar hugging and set the clip to the tune of Charlie Puth and Wiz Khalifa's song See You Again.

She penned a heartbreaking caption while remembering her onscreen sister.

'When you turned 16, it was hard not to still see you as the little girl I met on All My Children,' Gellar began.
'When you turned 21, I had to teach myself to not see you as the little sister anymore. I can't imagine what 40 would have been like.'
She added: 'This I know ... it would be filled with love. Happy birthday @MichelleTrachtenberg.'

Trachtenberg was discovered dead in her apartment after law enforcement responded to a 911 call on February 26.

Her family objected to an autopsy, according to the New York City Medical Examiner's Office, which meant her cause of death was ruled as 'undetermined.'

Nearly two months later, however, the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner revealed her sudden death was due to complications of diabetes mellitus, which is 'a group of diseases that affect how the body uses blood sugar,' according to the Mayo Clinic.
