Sheryl Crow had an extreme reaction to Kelly Clarkson's two-minute cover of her biggest hit, All I Wanna Do, during the 'Kellyoke' segment of her syndicated daytime talk show on Tuesday.

The original American Idol - turning 43 this month - was surprisingly faithful to the original 1994 track and did not use the full force of her powerful three-octave soprano pipes.

'I'm such a fan,' Kelly gushed to her studio audience afterwards.
'She's been such a cool artist to me from the beginning. Such a fan of hers!'

The 63-year-old singer was tagged in The Kelly Clarkson Show's Instagram video and she commented: 'Good grief @kellyclarkson could sing the damn phone book! I love this version better than mine!'

All I Wanna Do peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 for six consecutive weeks in 1994, and it topped the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.

In 1995, Sheryl went on to win the first three of her nine Grammy Awards for record of the year and best female pop vocal performance as well as best new artist.

Crow co-wrote All I Wanna Do - adapted from Wyn Cooper's 1987 poem Fun - with David Baerwald, Bill Bottrell, and Kevin Gilbert; and it appeared on her iconic 1993 debut studio album Tuesday Night Music Club.

The Digging in the Dirt singer - who's sold over 50M albums worldwide - will next be featured on British singer James Bay's single You and Me Time, which drops April 16.

Sheryl is next scheduled to headline the Boston Calling Festival held at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Boston, MA on May 23 alongside Luke Combs, Megan Moroney, T-Pain, TLC, and Mike.

On the personal front, Crow will celebrate the 18th birthday of her adopted son Wyatt on April 29 followed by the 16th birthday of her adopted son Levi on April 30.

The Missouri-born belter previously dated 17-time Grammy winner Eric Clapton, Oscar nominee Owen Wilson, and disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong.

Sheryl famously kicked off her career as a jingle singer before serving backing vocalist duties during the late King of Pop Michael Jackson's Bad World Tour 1987-1989.

Meanwhile, Kelly will next perform a two-night stand at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ happening May 9-10.

This Thursday, Clarkson (whose legal name is Kelly Brianne) is set to interview EGOT champ Viola Davis, her husband/producing partner Julius Tennon, and White Lotus actress Sarah Catherine Hook on her show now in its seventh season.
