They hit the red carpet in Los Angeles for the premiere of the actor's new movie, Superman.
David Corenswet and his wife, Julia Best Warner, finally made their relationship red carpet official!
On Monday, July 7, the 32-year-old actor and his actor/producer wife stepped out for a special date night while attending the premiere of his new movie Superman at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.
This marks the private couple's first official outing since they tied the knot in 2023 and after they welcomed their first child together in early 2024.
For the special occasion, Corenswet opted for a navy blue pinstriped suit, which he paired with a blue and white shirt and a matching knit tie.
Best Warner selected a high-necked and sleeveless sage green dress for the high-profile event. She left her bangs framing her face and finished off the outfit with dangling earrings and simple jewelry.
Although Corenswet—who described his relationship with his wife as a "slow burn" while speaking to PEOPLE in June 2025—has not said much about their married life, he did reveal one big way that his personal and professional lives crossed paths during his Superman adventure.
Speaking to PEOPLE, the star explained that he learned he was screen testing to play the iconic DC Comics hero two days before he found out that she was expecting.
"For the first several months of her pregnancy, as is sort of protocol, we weren't telling anybody. We had these two quite huge secrets that we just had between the two of us. And that was intense," he said.
Corenswet continued, adding, "For a period we had just each other for these two huge things."
In fact, he said that his wife's due date was "very close" to when he was supposed to start filming the movie in 2024.
There was another funny parallel between his experience filming the movie and hers going through the pregnancy: "She gained about 40 pounds while she was pregnant and in the same period I gained about 40 pounds gaining weight for Superman. I started snoring and had to use her pregnancy pillow," he admitted.
The couple was joined at the premiere by Corenswet's costars Rachel Brosnahan and Nicholas Hoult. Director James Gunn and co-CEO of DC Studios Peter Safran also walked the red carpet at the event.
Brosnahan, who brings Lois Lane to life in the film, wowed in a royal purple sequined gown by Ralph Lauren, which featured cutouts on the side and a scoop neck. Lex Luthor actor Hoult looked cool in a pair of black leather pants, which he paired with a double-breasted jacket and a horizontally striped tie.
Superman flies into theaters on July 11. It marks his first outing as the iconic hero, who was previously played by the likes of Henry Cavill and Christopher Reeve on the big screen and Tyler Hoechlin in the TV series Superman & Lois.
"I was lucky enough to exchange letters with Tyler Hoechlin and Henry Cavill, two fellows who have played Superman before me," Corenswet told PEOPLE while attending the London premiere on July 2.
He continued by explaining what advice he got from the former stars. According to him, they tried not to guide him too dramatically, though.
"They both, in their way, sort of refrained from giving advice," Corenswet explained. "There's not much advice that we can give, you know? You sort of have to do your own thing."
What did they talk about if not words of wisdom? Corenswet explained that he got "words of encouragement from them." He added that he appreciated being "able to write to them and talk about how appreciative I was of the way that they had stewarded the character in their time."
