Taller Marmo, the brand known for its contemporary take on occasion wear, is deputing "Casa Taller Marmo," a chic 300sqm retreat opening next month at Corso di Porta Romana 121 in Milan. Brought to you by interior design Studio Thomas Zangaro in collaboration with Taller Marmo's Creative Directors, Riccardo Audisio and Yago Goicoechea, the space which is open by appointment only, perfectly exemplifies the label's aesthetic through the considered use of cultural references, combined with greenery, tactile walls, and open spaces.

Ahead of its opening, Riccardo Audisio and Yago Goicoechea opened the doors early to their forthcoming setting.

Taller Marmo: Sandy hues, pigmented plasters, and raw textures create a contemplative, natural setting that invites visitors to slow down. Plaster walls, shaped with an organic hand, guide the rhythm of the space, while contrasting materials—rough concrete, travertine, wood, straw, and coarse fibers—add depth. Mirrors expand both light and perspective, generating a dynamic interplay of reflections. Every element reflects Taller Marmo's aesthetic which is an elegant balance of ethereality and cultural richness.

TM: We wanted a space that would embrace press, friends of the house, customers, and retail partners in an environment true to our motto: Laid-back and Fabulous. The concept was to evoke an arid, tropical landscape—dreamlike, suspended between reality and imagination—so that anyone entering feels instantly transported.

The design draws from diverse influences: the essential geometry of Donald Judd, echoed in the raw flooring against warm-toned walls inspired by his Whyte Building in Marfa; and the luminous spatiality of Nanda Vigo, evident in the built-in furniture, carpeted surfaces, and monomaterial approach.

Just as our collections blend cultural references with a sense of effortless elegance, the space was designed to feel both refined and otherworldly. We asked Thomas Zangaro Studio to create an environment far removed from Milan's urban landscape—immersive, inspiring, and resonant with the same layered storytelling we bring to fashion.

One of the most distinctive elements is its light. Casa Taller Marmo transforms completely between day and night thanks to its wellway, four large windows, and a central skylight. We enhanced these naturally lit areas with vegetation, creating the sensation of a warm, intimate oasis.

The pieces from our collection personalize the space, adding warmth and a sense of home. A curated selection of ceramics and artworks opens a dialogue between fashion and the visual arts, while vintage and collectible design icons such as Le Bambole by Mario Bellini, Ghost by Cini Boeri, Cloverleaf by Verner Panton, Oracle by Gae Aulenti, Soriana by Cassina, and original metal works by Angelo Brescianini enrich the environment with character. Together, they create a fluid setting for both hosting and expression.

Casa Taller Marmo is more than a showroom; it's a spatial narrative that embodies and amplifies the brand through refined materiality and evocative design. Beginning November 2025, it will open to the public by appointment, offering visitors an intimate, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of Taller Marmo.
