It's the unexpected pairing no one saw coming.
Sources have revealed that influencer Tammy Hembrow and Shark! host Paul de Gelder grew very close while filming the new show in the Bahamas, and it didn't go unnoticed.
The Channel Nine series, which is due to premiere later this year, pits Aussie celebrities against their greatest fear - sharks.
Tammy, 31, will star alongside The Block host Scott Cam, NRL star Sam Thaiday, former NRL star and actor Matt Nable, Home & Away icon Lynne McGranger, and Olympic swimming champion Ariane Titmus.
The series will be helmed by Paul, 47, a double-amputee shark attack survivor and former Navy clearance diver, alongside shark conservationist Annie Guttridge.
Paul lost his right hand and leg in a Sydney Harbour bull shark attack in 2009.
While the series promises many pulse-pounding moments, the vibe on set was reportedly akin to Love Island.
According to insiders, sparks began flying between Tammy and Paul during downtime on location, leaving fellow cast and crew buzzing.
'People definitely noticed the chemistry,' a source told Daily Mail.
'There was a lot of laughter, a lot of flirting... it wasn't exactly subtle.'
The alleged connection reportedly came as a surprise to those working on the production, with whispers quickly spreading behind the scenes.
'It wasn't something anyone expected,' the source added.
'You've got two very different personalities, both very confident. It created a bit of a moment on set.'
Executives were said to be particularly taken aback by the rumours, given the high-profile nature of the shoot, which took place in late November and early December 2025.
'Channel Nine didn't see that one coming,' the source said. 'It definitely raised a few eyebrows.'
While the Bahamas bond has dried up back on home soil, those close to the situation say it may have simply been a case of a paradise romance.
'There's something about being away, in that kind of environment,' the insider explained. 'People let their guard down.'
Tammy's rumoured Bahamas fling came before she 'hard launched' her relationship with new beau Grayson Te Moana in February.
The couple were pictured together for the first time at the Australian premiere of Wuthering Heights in Sydney in February.
The following day, it was reported that Grayson was until recently in a serious relationship with a woman named Jemma Hammett, and that she and her family were mortified to learn of his relationship with Tammy.
Jemma's sister Amelia told The Daily Telegraph that Grayson's very public new romance with Tammy had caused them significant embarrassment.
'I only care about my baby sister in this whole ordeal, as most people would,' Amelia said.

'Personally, I think that for this to be so publicised is embarrassing. How did he not see this unravelling the way it has? It's exactly what he has so badly wanted but in the absolute wrong way.'
She finished by saying she was speaking out to protect other young women.
When previously contacted by Daily Mail, Grayson denied ever being in a committed relationship with Jemma.
'Just to clear things up, the narrative being shared about me online isn't accurate. I haven't been in a relationship of any kind for over three years,' Grayson said.
'The claims circulating are simply false.'
Grayson is an aspiring model and has 4,300 followers on Instagram.
