Travis Kelce's mother Donna has publicly given her stamp of approval to her son's engagement to his superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift.
Swift broke the news of her impending wedding in a viral Instagram post on Tuesday, sharing photos from the intimate proposal shoot in a flower garden.
'Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,' Swift captioned the set of pictures, which showed the Kansas City Chiefs tight end getting down on one knee in the sea of plants and florals.
Her fans spiraled into paroxysms of excitement at the development, and now her future mother-in-law has added her voice to the choir.
Donna reacted to the engagement by changing her cover photo on Facebook to side-by-side childhood pictures of Travis and Taylor.
Taylor first took her relationship with Travis public by appearing alongside Donna in a private box at a Chiefs game in September 2023.
The following month, Donna gushed about the experience of sitting in a private box with Taylor as they watched Travis play for the Chiefs.
'I feel like I'm in an alternate universe, because it's something I've never been involved with before,' she said on the Got It From My Momma podcast.
Two days before Taylor announced her engagement to Travis, Donna made a tantalizing comment that appeared to be a hint at the incoming news.
When she was asked about where Travis derived his 'happiness,' she said: 'I think his mind is settled. That's about all I can tell you,' via People.
Meanwhile Travis' father Ed recently spilled the beans on his son's upcoming wedding to Taylor - including whether or not he will be paying for their rehearsal dinner.
He answered the question while speaking to News 5 Cleveland Tuesday.
'As the father of the groom, are you still on the hook for the rehearsal dinner, or do you think he's gonna help you out with that?' reporter John Kosich asked the dad-of-two.
'I think he'll help me out on that one,' Ed laughed in response.

Travis' dad, Ed, is sharing more about the couple's engagement and their future plans - including whether or not he will be paying for their rehearsal dinner.

During the interview, which has now gone viral, Ed also revealed that Kelce had proposed to Swift nearly two weeks earlier.
'Travis actually did the proposal maybe two weeks... not quite two weeks ago,' Ed told the outlet.
He explained that Kelce wanted to make it a 'big, special event,' but he offered his son some different advice.
'And I told him repeatedly, you could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event... when you get down on one knee and ask her to marry you.'
Ed shared that Kelce proposed to the Cruel Summer hitmaker at his home in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
'He got her out there, they were about to go out to dinner, and he said, "let's go out and have a glass of wine,"... they got out there, and that's when he asked her; and it was beautiful,' Ed shared.
'They started FaceTiming me and their mother and her folks to make sure everybody knew. So, to see them together is great,' he added.
It's unclear exactly when the couple will get married, but it may have to wait until after Travis's football season ends.
On Swfit's ring finger, the centerpiece of the shoot, was a striking oval-cut diamond set in yellow gold, a vintage-inspired sparkler that instantly set social media alight with praise.
Many fans also noticed hidden details about the ring.
There appears to be a small T on the side of the rock, and some have theorized that there might be a matching T on the other side - representing Taylor and Travis.
Others have also claimed to have uncovered a secret special connection with the location of the engagement shoot.
Social media users are convinced the backdrop for the photos may have had a deeper meaning, pointing out that Swift sang about secret gardens in numerous songs in the past, including I Hate It Here, Betty, and The Great War.
Some also noted that the location looked very similar to where she did the photoshoot for her album Lover.
The newly-engaged couple went public with their relationship in September 2023 when the singer appeared alongside Travis’s mother, Donna, at a Kansas Chiefs game.
Since then, their romance has captivated the world, with Swift supporting Kelce’s run to two Super Bowls while the NFL star has traveled alongside her around the globe on her wildly successful Eras tour.
