Taylor Swift's pal Presley Cash dropped a fiery TikTok on Tuesday -- calling out Carrie Underwood and the American Idol producers for what she described as a stunning betrayal after her audition was axed.

The 27-year-old singer-songwriter, best known for starring in two of Swift's music videos, blasted the country superstar for brushing off her talent and claimed the Idol team spent months 'grooming' her, only to blindside her in the end.

Cash auditioned for this season of the iconic competition series, but the show never aired her performance -- only a fleeting shot of her handing the judges her skeleton gloves.

'Little did I know I was about to go in front of the American Idol judges after six months of grooming from producers saying how amazing of a singer/songwriter I was and loved my work with Taylor, just to have Carrie Underwood say I can't sing and I can't hang in Hollywood -- after working in Hollywood for 20 years,' Cash wrote in the scathing video.

She added, 'She knew about my work with Taylor Swift and that I was a part of the BIGGEST TOUR in HERstory (the Eras Tour). It seems the tea is hotter than we thought, ghouls...'

DailyMail.com has requested comment from reps for Carrie Underwood and American Idol.

The artist first rose to fame as the bullied schoolgirl in Swift's Mean video at age 13, later reprising her role in 2023's I Can See You, where she helped Taylor and Joey King bust out of a vault and reclaim her masters.

In another TikTok, Presley doubled down: 'American Idol told me I can't sing, but Taylor gave me this Tortured Poets Department bracelet. And after my little trip to Nashville, I am more tortured and poetic than EVER!!'

'Lionel, Luke and especially Carrie I hope you enjoy the Skeleton gloves!!!!!!,' she added.

When the video was released, Swift herself shouted out Presley on Instagram, calling her 'ridiculously badass,' adding: '

'I've been counting down for months and finally the 'I Can See You' video is out. I wrote this video treatment over a year ago and really wanted to play out symbolically how it's felt for me to have the fans helping me reclaim my music. I had my heart set on @joeyking,@taylorlautner and @helloimpresleycash starring in it.
'Joey [King] and Presley had been in the video for 'Mean' when they were 9 and 13 and they are back and so ridiculously bad ass!! So proud of this one.'

Beyond her Swiftie connections, Presley has worked steadily as an actor and filmmaker, appearing in Choose Connor, Coffee & Contemplation Live, and A Star Is Born.

But it's her run-in with Idol that's putting her in the spotlight now -- and she's not the only one with a bone to pick.

Sources say tension has long simmered between Swift and Underwood, reaching new highs when Carrie took the stage at Donald Trump's 2017 inauguration -- a move some insiders claim was a calculated jab.

'Some people close to Taylor think Carrie took the Trump inauguration gig to spite Taylor,' a source close to Swift told the Daily Mail. 'They've had a little bad blood in the past and Taylor famously endorsed Kamala Harris.
'Some people in the industry do think this is Carrie's way of marking her territory as 'Miss Americana' as her side of the political aisle won the election.'

The drama didn't stop there. On a recent episode of Idol, Carrie appeared to take a veiled swipe at Swift by likening a flat performance to Taylor's vocal style.

'She doesn't have this giant vibrato, belty voice, but there's something in there,' Carrie said, prompting Swifties to accuse her of throwing not-so-subtle shade.

According to insiders, it wasn't lost on Swift.

'Carrie has been waiting for the moment to throw some subtle shade, but this was not that subtle,' our insider said. 'There was no reason to compare this girl to Taylor.'

For her part, a source close to Underwood says the feud is rooted in a belief that Swift abandoned the country genre for a more lucrative career in pop.

'Carrie feels Taylor truly sold out going from country to pop,' that insider said.
