Never mind the Christmastide editions of your favourite shows on TV or reruns of classic films, there's only one festive thing the whole family should be gathering around for - and it's the Daily Mail Boxing Day Quiz of 2025.

A lot has happened over the past year with a big old chunk of the news generated by one man, Donald Trump.

The US President has had his finger in many pies, truly dominating the global political, economic and even sporting headlines (including receiving the Fifa Peace Prize and standing on the podium with the winning captain at the Fifa Club World Cup).

Away from the shenanigans of 'The Donald,' the Ukraine war and President Zelensky, along with Elon Musk, were often in the news.

But I spent much of my time presenting the BBC News At Ten this year delivering stories on the Royal Family, the war in Gaza and natural disasters such as hurricanes, wildfires and floods.

So, grab a cup of tea or a glass of mulled wine and a left-over mince pie and get all the family involved for my fiendish quiz.

And as I always tell the brave contenders on Mastermind waiting anxiously for their turn to be grilled in the famous black chair: good luck to you all.
