She is remembered by her online community of fellow influencers in the bodybuilding space, her husband Brent and her five stepchildren.

Texan fitness influencer and baker Christina Bitner died on Sunday, July 13, just three days after her 41st birthday, PEOPLE confirms.

Information about Bitner's cause of death has yet to be released, per the Justice of the Peace's office for Medina County Precinct 4.

According to her Instagram page, @weightsncakes, the content creator was part of the International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) professional league. In addition to her fitness pursuits, Bitner flaunted her pastry-making skills and regularly shared photos of her decorative cakes.

Her final Instagram post showed a towering pink and white birthday cake decorated with a carousel figurine topper. "Gorgeous baby girl cake!! So precious !!" the late baker wrote on June 30.

Bitner had over 95,000 social media followers at the time of her death. She is survived by her husband, Brent, and she was a stepmom to five children, as stated in her Instagram bio.

Her community of fitness enthusiasts continue to mourn Bitner on social media, where friends have shared heartfelt tributes. Fellow influencer Anahi Rosales expressed her grief with several posts on Instagram, beginning with her initial post announcing the news on Monday, July 14.

"I woke up with my heart in pieces, praying it had all been a bad dream, but reality hit hard," Rosales wrote. "Yesterday, I lost one of my best friends. And I truly don't know how to move forward knowing I'll never hear her voice again."

In a following Instagram upload, Rosales again voiced her reaction to the tragedy. "The pain is heavy, and the silence she left behind is overwhelming. She wasn't just a friend... she was family. We had years of memories, laughs, and future plans, and now I'm just trying to figure out how to move forward without her," she wrote of Bitner.

Another IFBB pro Janet Bloodworth posted a picture of the two of them together accompanied by an emotional caption.

"I just literally found out about the passing of my friend this morning. I'm in shock and heart broken. Christina Bitner was a beautiful person inside and out," Bloodworth wrote on Tuesday.

She continued to remember their first time meeting backstage at an event in 2020.

"She was so sweet and nice and could tell I was a nervous wreck. She gave me so much advice and calmed me down and we became friends and stayed in touch ever since," Bloodworth wrote of Bitner. "Please pray for her and her family."
