Given they're competing for Lord Sugar's investment, one would assume an Apprentice candidate should have a good knowledge of world locations.

But fans of the BBC show declared one contestant needed to be 'fired instantly' after she made a hilarious gaffe while discussing an iconic London landmark.

The latest episode saw the 10 remaining candidates given the chance to redeem themselves from the disastrous scavenger hunt in Hong Kong earlier in the series, by repeating the challenge with nine new items on the Isle Of Wight.

Unfortunately Kieran McCartney and his team lost the task, and Harry Clough became the eleventh candidate to be fired.

The episode began with a 6am wake-up call where the candidates were told they needed to meet Lord Sugar at the famous Cutty Sark in London.

While getting ready, Pascha Myhill said: 'What is Cutty Sark? It's a weird name, it sounds, Japanese or something.'

Many fans quickly took to X to blast Pascha for the gaffe, writing: 'Not heard of the Cutty Sark and having trouble with the Iguanadons. Poor start;

'OMG are these people for real? I've known the Cutty Sark since I was in primary school;

'Not knowing what the Cutty Sark is should be an instant firing;

'The future of UK business is in good hands with this next generation. Not a fudge of a clue - no basic general knowledge at all.'

The latest episode saw the two teams given another chance to complete the famous scavenger hunt taskm having failed miserably doing the same challenge in Hong Kong earlier in the series.

Unfortunately Kieran and his team lost the task, meaning that he had to pick two of his co-stars to bring back to the boardroom.

The estate agent decided to bring back Harry and Conor Galvin, and Lord Sugar decided to get rid of Harry because of how expensive he bought the stand up paddle board for.

When asked about how he felt after being fired, Harry said: 'It was extraordinary.

After Pascha questioned whether the famous Cutty Sark ship was Japanese, many fans blasted her in posts on X

'I mean, seeing Lord Sugar's finger point and then saying 'you're fired' was such a weird experience; it was pretty surreal.

'I kind of felt it coming because I was in the boardroom with Kieran and Conor, who are the biggest characters on the show.

'So, I thought I didn't stand a chance against those guys.

But then I was just really sad. I loved the whole process; filming was insane and everything was awesome.

'But then you just leave and you didn't see them again and then it is just back to normal life.

'I was happy with how far I got, but I was definitely gutted to go.'

And when asked if he thinks that he deserved it, Harry added: 'I mean, there's all this argument about the SUP (stand up paddle board).'

'I think it was the right decision to buy it there and then.'

'Obviously it was unlucky that the other team managed to get a second-hand one but that was sort of out of my control.'

'I don't think that was all on me and I think there were other things that happened, but everyone did so well in that task, so it was always going to come down to the smallest thing.'

'Someone had to be fired at the end of the day.'

He also think that the wrong person was sent home.

'I was saying Kieran should have been fired when I was in the boardroom because obviously there was that whole joke about them going on a lad's day out and tasting wine and stuff like that.

'They went against Kieran's motto of what we should do in terms of pricing in terms of doing this quickly.

'But also at the same time, they did really good deals. So, I think it was such a close one.

'It was so difficult and when it came down to me, Conor, and Kieran, it was always going to be me.'
